Why all of a sudden most previous administration personals are in hospitals abroad?
Obviously while in government they did not think it fit to bring the Nigeria Hospitals up to standard.
funny how they all seem to be falling sick at the same time - from Alison- Madueke and Kuku (If the news reports are true).

mumaru • 8 years ago

Another one in hospital!!! I wish him speedy recovery.

kinsly • 8 years ago

Since May 29,Kingsley Kuku in Hospital, Okonjo Iweala in Hospital, Deziani Allison in Hospital.........ok oooo, who again?

Chukwu Michael • 8 years ago

This is not an honour. He wants who he will use to apease Niger Deltans. Should he have appointed a mallam for the job that is exclusively Niger Delta in nature? Can he appoint a yoruba man, Igbo man or an Ijaw man as Miniter for FCT?He knows what he is doing. He prefers who can talk to the Niger Delta Youths in the event of any aggitation./ It is not an act of love but an act of devide and rule system. Setting brother against his brother and while they are fighting, he will be taking their resources. It is only a way of acheiving his crooked desire of hitting their heads together. By the time he Buhari denies Niger Delta their legitimate rights, it will seem as if Boro is not favouring the Region, where as it is Buhari tying his hands. Appointing him is not an honour, as Buhari can not appoint a Yoruba man or an Igbo man to be the Minister for FTC. Greek gift.

As observed, the long-term solution to the Niger Delta problems requires quality education for the indigenes or the natives including high scale capacity building and radical revitalization of the dilapidated infrastructures in the region; thereby developing the region and creating employment for the masses in the communities. It is a saying that one should teach a child how to fish (long-term solution) but not to give a child a fish (short-term solution).
Thank you.

Appreciate your candor Kuku about a politician not being chosen to head such a sensitive position. I was reading commentary from some haters earlier.. Can you read the reasons adduced by Kuku???
Nna, na wa for some people.. Bile will be the end of them...

Artful ºDodger • 8 years ago

Another one hired based on common sense and merit. He has peace keeping management background and he must have done well in his last appointment in Kaduna to merit this one. Added to that is the fact that he is also from the SS, he has background knowledge of the happening in the region. Hiring someone else from another region for the job would have amounted to putting a wrong peg in the wrong hole.

The appointment of the service chiefs and this one are just too spot on!

Emma-Mabe yanze! • 8 years ago

I dont know why Nigerians let themselves to be "COWED!" even though they seem to have good Levels of Education! It Baffles one to know that the Appointment of a SOLDIER is simply puting the "RIGHT PEG IN THE RIGHT HOLE!" My goodness! Is this not what we have been crying that Buhari lacks the Capacity and the Democratic Tenets to Lead as a Democratically elected president? Come to think of it, A Soldier would be the last man Standing to be appointed to such a Position! Education have it that there are those who are responsible and have the Mastery of Dealing with Human Problems in Psycological and Conflict resolving manner!(Not possibly Politicians!) What happened right now is a product of Buhari NOT knowing who to Appoint for this Position because he is not presently working with the People of the Niger-Delta! He is proving us right every now and then that he is a Military Dictator, the Earlier People start pondering about These signs the better! IBB once said that Buhari would win because all the Military Generals Support him, what does that tell you? See,These things only goes to Show that Buhari does not have Democracy in his "PORT-FOLIO" to give out to Nigerians! Well, We(The Niger-Delta Republik) are there again where we were before Jonathan took over to birng the People that lay the Golden-Egg to the seat of Power, But Greedy Nigeria refused to let us be! OUR RESPONSE? Me Ova! Ughwu kpovaha, Ure to Ologe!

Artful ºDodger • 8 years ago

You see my friend, there is nothing, i mean absolutely nothing new in what you have just said. This is exactly like someone trying to convince me yesterday why he and some of his fellow igbos have issues with the Northerners- because he sense hidden agendas in everything. For some of you, even the food you eat thesedays is also not spared. He tried very hard to point to me how the Quran and Sharia were mentioned in the Nigerians constitution several times without even the word ¨Christians¨ mentioned anywhere in the book and yet Obasanjo and Jonathan took their oath of office under the same constitution with a Bible. He went on further about injustices and why his people want freedom even when no one is holding them in any bondage and how the Bible omitted them as black Jews(i never Knew Jacob also married a black woman) etc non of which made any sense just like he couldnt substantiate any of his claims beyond simply being a product of the brainwashing by that praying mantis ¨granny cajun stew cook¨ Nnamdi Kalu.

IBB said, Ojukwu said etc, honestly can you people not even think at all? Take the circumstances under which these ¨saying¨ were said and then consider whether they even relate to today at all in any way. Must every move of someone be because someone has said and even if so, must there always be hidden agenda to every sayings and saids?

Yes i still maintained that the appointment is putting the right pegs in the right hole. He has a military background which is a plus considering the people he has to deal with and he also has amnesty service background. He is from the SS from among the people he is meant to serve so what else do you need to convince you that he is very qualified beyond the fact that he is not igbo?

WHat you need is a job, go engage yourself legally and be getting legitimate income. Handout because of oil will NEVER come where from Nigeria or even the Nider Delta Republic. The Saudis do not give it neither does the Kuwaitis.

Andy • 8 years ago

Why must you mention Igbo in all your comments, what have all the comments above get to do with Igbo. You haters should repent, before is late.

Emma-Mabe yanze! • 8 years ago

Thank you very much for your reply, But it seems you are just a mere Educated fellow who think "GOOD" is better enough! But to me it isn`t! Now just look at the Criteria you sited for a man to be Qualified to deal with a People who are "Agitating for their Lands and Farmlands to be left alone from Drilling that CANCER called Oil! You went on to mention the Military Background he has 1, and 2 He is from the Niger-Delta!. My God! Did you read my Piece before replying? What is his Educational Portfolio? Dunce! A man who served in the Military should automatically be a man who know about the socio-Economic deficiencies that the Useless Country called Nigeria has succeded in Meeting to the Niger-Deltans?, What happened to the Portfolio of Developemental Expertise? What happened to the Portfolio of Evironmental Restoration? Is it a Soldier at Arms that did not attended class-rooms for the aforementioned Portfolios that will solve These Problems? See mate, I am not here to convince you, I am here to Educate you to know that before appointments are made, Considerations of Educational Portfolio and Project Execution Experiences ought to be given "FULL PRIORITIES!" Pls my friend, That i am concerned about the Nonsence General Buhari is doing does not make me Jobless(ANGEBLICH SIND SIE SEHR REICH GENUG!); You don`t know who is in the other end, and i am not here to tell you who i am, but let those letters in bracket teach you a David-Goliath lesson. Next time learn how to look into the Depths before following your Military Dictator to Appoint "RETIRED GENERALS" to all the Ministries and Institutions in Nigeria. Me Ova! Ughwu kpovaha, Ure to Ologe!

I think this should be a response to all anti - Buhari who has been condemning the President for appointing a military man. We should learn not to keep attaching sentiments to every news that comes from Presidency. Better we comment based on the merit.

Artful ºDodger • 8 years ago

Merit kee, that is a new terminology to some igbos. That Buhari has not appointed an igbo man so far has thrown all of them against humanity!

Andy • 8 years ago

It seems the word Igbo, gives you High B.P. Since you cannot finish any comment without mentioning it.

Chukwu Michael • 8 years ago

You de crase?

ola • 8 years ago

Lol...
Whoever still continue to display tribal bigotry in this new Nigeria is doing so at his own peril cux nothing will change. Every close watcher of PMB will know that he has never been perturbed by sentimental comments. The louder their voice, the progress he make.
Better they fall-in or remain a learner.

onome4japan • 8 years ago

Please Ola , can outline the so called progress for me ?

Anic • 8 years ago

onome4japan are you satisfied with the details as given by Ola. I think if we place Nigeria before us and demonstrate that element of patriotism, we will appreciate the person of Buhari. I am yet to imagine any leader who will have rightly filled that space at this critical time of natonal disaster and decadent caused by the Government of Jonathan.

onome4japan • 8 years ago

Anic , kindly read my reply to Ola . Thanks

LD • 8 years ago

I have had more light in my house since Buhari took over, more than the entire light i was given during jonathans reign. If you don't buy Ola's comments then my account should be simple enough. In 4 yrs time you'll be put to shame what this administration would accomplish with the backing of credible and patriotic Nigerians.

onome4japan • 8 years ago

I like what you said in 4 years time , so let wait .

Nzeputa • 8 years ago

Why are you people so daft in understanding the way of governance?. In your illusion mind, Buhari put all the machineries in place within two months for you to get light?. Nigeria must stop cut of marks to have people study hard in other to reason well.

LD • 8 years ago

Why are you people so retarded to know under Gej nothing worked. you people are suffering from post election trauma. how is Gej responsible for light? the privatisation? A restructure? Did we see the improvements under him? are Gej ministers still running the government? The so called private Discos did not have funds to meet demand the last time i checked and Gej government had to give them loan to own up to their responsibilities. Infact, i believe there was always this amount of electricity to circulate but the people in charge just never gave us light for whatever reason. Now we have a no nonsense government and everyone sits up yet you are here calling people names. You retarded people are ready to call people daft because you are incapable of a solid and intellectual argument. daft my ass.

ola • 8 years ago

The situation of the country has gone so bad that make it require a new foundation. Therefore, the administration successes so far has been more on laying a good foundation for the government to take off. You will agree with me that no structure will stand on No foundation or a weaken one. So far...
1. Redeeming country's image within the committee of nations.
2. Re-strategising for the fight against boko haram.
3. Blocking revenue leakages which has reflected in the country's foreign reserve.
4. On going fight against corruption.
5. Refineries back on operation due to the weakening of saboteurs efforts.
6. Bailing the states out of the mess of salary debt.
7. And keeping the peoples hope alive.

onome4japan • 8 years ago

Mr Ola , you make me laugh none of those you outline progressive .

1. Redeeming country's image within the committee of nations.

ANS - Tell me how Buhari government is redeeming Nigeria image in committee of Nations?

2. Re-strategising for the fight against boko haram.

ANS - Its a know fact that Boko haram are more stronger during this Buhari government and the dead roll is too obvious .

3. Blocking revenue leakages which has reflected in the country's foreign reserve.
ANS - What leakage as Buhari government blocked ?

4. On going fight against corruption.

ANS - Probing without IBB and OBJ government ?

5. Refineries back on operation due to the weakening of saboteurs efforts.

ANS - Do not tell me that Buhari make our refineries work with 2 weeks ?

6. Bailing the states out of the mess of salary debt.
ANS - He should investigate those governors that refused to pay their worker salaries and the last time i check no governor have receive the bail out money .

7. And keeping the peoples hope alive.
ANS - What hope with people like Tinubu and Ameachi around ?

ola • 8 years ago

I joined issues here based on objectivity and not on sentiments. I made comments based on what I observed and not heresay. I say it as I see...right or wrong.
1. The world now has confidence in the leadership of Nigeria. All falling over each other to render help to the new government. And also looking inward on how bilateral relationship can be strengthen. Unlike what it use to be before now. Only people with bad heart will dispute this, it's very obvious.
2. If you know how this militants operates, then u will agree with me that there is nothing new or increase in their activities. Remember they use to come all out to attack the millitary but now, they are back to guerilla war style. Suicide bombing and hit n run attack. This is a coward style of war. The result of d government efforts will soon be manifesting.
3. The foreign reserve has always been on d downward trend since the oil price fall until now when some revenue leakages has been blocked which has resulted to Increase in foreign reserve. We all know how government agencies have been operating different account n not remitting all revenue in government covers. But now, it has been streamlined. All revenue now go directly to one government account.
4. Ibb, OBJ, tinubu or whoever are not the only people alleged to be corrupt. These people mentioned left the government years ago. What did the past government did to probe them? Now that we have a leader with the zeal, who is trying to sanitize the system, We are better off. This is just the beginning, meanwhile he will do his best n leave the remaining for others.
5. The simple truth Is nothing has been wrong with the refineries. It was d activities of saboteurs that has been stopping them from operation. And the past government doesn't has the zeal to stop them until Buhari stepped in.
6. The governors can't be prosecuted until the lose their immunity. Meanwhile, investigation will be a waste of time for now. The most important thing is to pay suffering workers. Which is been taking care of by the FG.
7. 95% of nigerian politicians are corrupt. Tinubu, amaechi and whoever are just a fraction. Meanwhile, none of those is my President. Peoples hope has risen

onome4japan • 8 years ago

Ola , you did not say any new from your previous post i reply to .

ola • 8 years ago

Sorry, you sound lost in your earlier response. So, I believe you deserve better explanation about my outline, maybe u can understand my points better.
Anyway, the bottom line is PMB is our President n will remain so for the next 4years. He deserves our support better than condemning everything he does.
God bless my Fatherland

onome4japan • 8 years ago

If PMB is working , i bet you Ola you will surely hear from me here . I am not a politician and i am no card carrier of any political party in Nigeria . Thanks and stay blessed .

Bigzy • 8 years ago

You talk such highfalutin nonsense. Buhari remains one of the most corrupt leaders we have ever had.
