Once again, you people make up your minds with less than facts and based on a partial video and not the whole video. A "family friend" I am sure is a credible and reliable witness. Would have been nice to see the whole video. I bet the woman was holding onto something preventing the officers from taking her into custody. She was so concerned for her welfare and that of her unborn child, that she continues to scream and stop whatever resistance she put up. Officer reactions are dictated by suspect actions. Remain calm and the officers remain calm. Yell, scream and resist then you dont get a calm response. Would have liked to seen the whole video, not just what you decided to show that will create a story. Love all the great attacks on the people that dont agree with your views. That is an intelligent way to support your point of view.

Kim • 9 years ago

So if she is clearly pregnant, hormonal and freaking out it is the "right of the state" to beat up a woman who happens to literally be carrying a baby? You mean to tell me that a big well trained man has to punch a pregnant, unarmed woman to "defend" himself? Who the fuck are you kidding? You are part of the problem with society.

Rosie Vincent • 9 years ago

there is NO EXCUSE Shawn you must be a cop? my nephew and I have two friends who are officers and they would NEVER do anything like this! Bullies is what these PIGS are!

Jennifer Joy • 9 years ago

yeah possibly a Cop, why else would they want to defend these scumbags? of course....just wait till their defense will wear out and some one will get thrown under the Bus. Happens every time!

blindjustice • 9 years ago

I call bullshit on you Shawn. They were not taking her into custody until she asked to see the warrant. Since when do people not have the right to resist when they are assaulted. Since when do people not have the right to read a warrant. She was not a suspect. If I read the story she agreed to a meeting to speak to them. The screaming started when they barged into the house and pinned her to the wall. She claimed she asked to see/read the warrant and the sheriff said that's not going to happen. My guess from the get go was it was not a valid warrant. He never let her read it, he flashed it. How many human beings do you think won't resist when they are getting the shit kicked out of them. I have read stories that suspects are shot in the back for reaching behind them to pull probes out of their back while being taised repeatedly and then charged with resisting arrest, that is of course if they survive.

That cops repeatedly punched a pregnant woman in the stomach...two officers had her under control...screaming out of fear should not be grounds for being punched in the belly...what about the unborn child?? Did that baby resist arrest? Did it deserve to be punched?? You are a cop or are married to one..you have no issues with people being assaulted by police causeu are one...

mikrat • 9 years ago

You have obviously missed the hundreds of other videos showing the same shit and worse from all over the country - but then Ignorance is bliss

Swollen Colon (Novah) • 9 years ago

I guess pigs will try to make up any excuse to hide their filth these days. The video is pretty clear, you are a fucking retard.

Shawn Stephens • 9 years ago

That was an intelligent response. Take you all day to think that one up? Bet your head hurts.

The video is so clear that it starts mid way through and then abruptly ends right after the blows were delivered without possibly explaining what they were needed for. The pictures of the bruises were not from the blows that were delivered since they appear to have been some where to her backside. Photos show bruises to legs and stomach of which were clearly not struck in the video, that is pretty clear. Haters gonna hate no matter what the evidence actually does show.

Funny moniker by thew way, speaks volumes

Swollen Colon (Novah) • 9 years ago

If you love the cops so much go live with them, they're always accepting new inmates.

Jay Little • 9 years ago

I wish there was a like button here because I would be hitting it . I have personally dealt with Hunt , Van Zandt , and Kaufman County. Very scary for people with something left to loose

Suzee • 9 years ago

If any of that happened, you'd think it would be in their reports.

1776blues • 9 years ago

The cop is a coward and so are you. Its obvious you have no children, which is a relief, but if you did would you allow the Child Pedophile Service with their armed thugs take them without proof you did anything wrong and if you answer yes, why? While you rant about facts; why is it you speculate without any facts that you bet she was holding onto something? As for her reaction, the female species will do whats necessary to protect their young. Its too bad you've been indoctrinated to the point that you believe we must submit to the powers that be without questioning their alleged authority.

You would have made a great subject of the King!!!

There is no excuse for punching a full term pregnant woman that was screaming I'm pregnant!!! Have you ever been pregnant.? A mothers fear of harm to her child's starts way before the child is born..yeah she was freaking out they were pressing her down on her stomach...so she was scared they were hurting her baby...you are really closed minded to anybodies oppinion but your own...you must be liberal...people like you that think that kind of harm to a baby is ok is what is wrong with society...

JQuindreDTeriusJacksonIII • 9 years ago

He's probably not a stupid liberal (sorry, I can't say the word stupid liberal without putting the word stupid in front of it). He's just another dirty stupid cop (sorry, I can't say the word stupid cop without putting the word stupid in front of it).

Louise Perryman • 9 years ago

If there is an explanation for this, I'd sure like to hear it. Neither the sheriff, nor the deputy, nor CPS, has come forward with another version. I live here, I know this family. This young woman has never been in trouble. She is a decorated Iraqi War Vet. You're making up your version.

Bill Fortune • 9 years ago

You need to continue to add to this story. Why were child protective services involved ?; why did the cops need to see the child or children ?
There is no excuse for big men with weapons acting the way they often do. Too often we have not found a way to deal with violent people, except with more violence. But I would lose my temper if I saw a child that had been abused by a parent.
All people (society) need to encourage child nurturing instead of control; cops and the bureaucrats need to be examined (personality inventory) to see if they are prone to violence and control. More control by the government has not and will not solve any problems.
And those people that abuse children need to be sterilized if they can't be rehabilitated.

JQuindreDTeriusJacksonIII • 9 years ago

And control is exactly why cps was involved. A cop's number one mission is to find (manufacture) a perp and escalate the situation to it's max profit potential. Pregnant moms will pay maximum ransom for their kids. Easy. It's just what stupid cops do.

Shannon S. Thibodeaux • 9 years ago

Under what pretense is roughing up and punching a subdued pregnant woman and then denying her medical care after the fact ever alright?

oilman4 • 9 years ago

Ur a piece of shit

Jay Little • 9 years ago

By the way Shawn , i haven't even watched the video . Don't need to. I know these scumbags well

Jay Little • 9 years ago

Fuck you , i know Hunt County the most crooked outlaw law inforcement in Texas. I've had close friends murdered by these scumbags and narrowly escaped myself . You want to discuss it then private message me and i will give you my number and give you the honesty behind their bullshit

Guest • 9 years ago

More crooked than kaufman (little k for little dick syndrome) county?

Concerned Citizen • 9 years ago

Shawn, no one is 'making' their mind up by the video. In this society, it doesn't matter if she is a criminal or not, punching a woman is not acceptable or tolerated. Nor is it honorable to be wearing a uniform & badge while committing these heinous acts on a human-being IN FRONT OF CHILDREN OR ON AN UNBORN FETUS. If you were (are) a father & the government showed up to put your child in foster care, what would you do? Calmly allow it based on your responses. Because of course CPS is known for their ability to help, right? Wrong. And this video proves that no one in power in Hunt, Texas can properly assert it. You are entitled to your support of the police & CPS but don't accuse others of being ignorant in their beliefs based on what they've read & seen. Over & over & over & over again.

Mauha Deeb • 9 years ago

Punching a woman is fine if they are assaulting someone. Not saying she was being assaulted nor justifying the punching in this instance. But to think women are on some other level and not subject to physicsl defense when being offense is ridiculous.

david • 9 years ago

I have had personal experience with this department and they are crooked I got 8 years TDCJ with one officer falsifying evidence and the other one covering for him. Also had people in the department apologize to my mother because they knew What was going on and Did nothing for fear of their jobs

Jay Little • 9 years ago

I got 10 years Tdc behind these crooked scumbags

Fedup_with_disqus • 9 years ago

So, was that a valid warrant they refused to show to her? It certainly doesn't excuse their actions - they should all lose their jobs, and their LEO certificates, but I wonder if they really had a legal basis for being inside the house. If not, she will hopefully own the city/

Kory Watkins • 9 years ago

If this was any citizen they would be in jail. Why do officers get the benefit ?

Todd Winton • 9 years ago

Because the house slaves get more rights than the rest of the slaves

Shawn Stephens • 9 years ago

Hence they are not normal citizens and do a job that requires them to put themselves in not normal situations. Everyday citizens do not have to deal with the stuff that they deal with it and they can extricate themselves from the situation or just bypass it all together. There is your answer to why officers get the benefit of the doubt.

You are so quick to condemn that for which you have no understanding and truly will have no understanding because you really do not want to understand. Easier to protest based on partial information and less than truthful witnesses to events.

The Law Enforcement profession is not any different than any other profession out there. They all have bad employees within their professions, but very few that are truly bad. We have bad doctors, lawyers, teachers, brick layers, cooks, etc..... There are always going to be people that are not right for the job and should not have been hired happens everywhere and will keep happening.

Kory Watkins • 9 years ago

You're an idiot.

Louise Perryman • 9 years ago

Amen

Jennifer Joy • 9 years ago

Smells like a Duck, Taste like a Duck, Quack like a Duck....D'oh! It's a COP! of course they would defend these scumbags. or just simply Trolls. or a CPS Worker, that one who had a Fake warrant to get in. The Public is onto to you now, the more exposure it gets, it makes you look like morons. I hope this Family will sue the City and the Police and the CPS....Good Luck!

Because the Enforcers always get a pass from the Controllers... until the day comes that the Controllers slaughter the Enforcers, a'la Night of the Long Knives.

Another great job Brett. You do a great service to the community and Nation. Thank you.

Stay strong Deanna.

Danial Moore • 9 years ago

I know Deanna and our close mutual friend shared this link on my FB page. First of all I was shocked this even took place having met her and knowing what kind of person she is. Let me point out that she is all of maybe 5'5"? Secondly, as a former law enforcement officer with 15 years experience in Federal law enforcement, I can't recall ever learning any non-lethal control technique that included punching a handcuffed suspect to gain complience. Do you really mean to tell me that two fairly large, supposedly trainined police officers weren't able to affect an arrest without resorting to punching? Clearly they (or at least one of them, with the others seeming acquiescence) allowed her heightnend level of aggitation to get the best of him. I wonder if things would have gone differently had all parties involved known that the ENTIRE episode was being recorded, with audio, by the home security system from the moment they walked in. Just because there's no one standing there with a cell phone recording it, doesn't mean you aren't being watched. An earlier post states the video "ends right after the blows were delivered without possibly explaining what they were needed for." Absolutely no explanation is neccesary because they absolutely weren't needed. The video doesn't need to explain anything, but i'm betting the officer will need to explain to the judge. I recall at FLETC being training to keep your cool when non-compliant subjects are yelling or screaming, not to match them level for level; that is not the premise behind meeting force with higher force. This story will soon be televised, nationwide. I hope for Deanna's and her children's sake the department fires these officers and she sues the city for every dime she and her attorney can squeeze out of them. Good luck Deana.

Suzee • 9 years ago

The time has come to begin holding the people sworn to protect and serve at our dime accountable for their actions. I am sickened by what I see here because there is NO EXCUSE for hitting and unarmed pregnant woman, period! This is sickening.

Inc. • 9 years ago

Brett your credability is getting worse and worse. Lately you been showing and writing wayyy less of the information needed to see the WHOLE TRUTH. I know you have a agenda but LYING and telling HALF TRUTHS make you mess up the cause for everyone. Your doing a bad dis-service to people who are trying to get at the truth and put bad cops in there place. Get the hell of the net or tell the God damn truth.

Brett Sanders • 9 years ago

I reported everything I had at the time-- I broke the story, and since I broke the story, a myriad of details have came to light.

Ahh yes another one of those "GOOD COPS" with all those other "GOOD"COPS" standing around watching and doing nothing.

Fuck You Pigs - You get what you ALL deserve.

Rosie Vincent • 9 years ago

I just called and left a message I am so upset and pissed off those officers should be behind bars right now where is the f***ing media and where are the people taking it to the streets I am so disgusted!!!

GreenTriumph1 • 9 years ago

If cops can investigate themselves so be it. Next time I go to court I
will present my side of the story and then JUDGE if I won my argument or
not.
