There used to be lots of christians in Syria too. They had a good life there until the US/nato/suadi decided that they didn't like President Assad and released their convicts and funded murderers to destroy Syria's towns and cities. Turkish business also aided and abetted by receiving stolen goods from thieves stripping Syria bare inbetween the fighting.

The brainwashing is the same in every western country and has been going on for centuries. Also raising through the social strata is prohibited unless one has the right connections or bloodline. So it's no surprise that today we find ourselves in such a mess being dictated to by misfits and imperialist minded inbreds who worship personal wealth over humanity and decency. Society's moral codes were not designed for them.

iran also -- in the middle east -- has the second largest jewish population -- let us remember.

i remember reading an article many , many years ago :

a brief ''opening'' between iran and israel was allowed -- and IRANIAN CITIZENS who were JEWISH - traveled to israel as tourists and in some kind of cultural/religious affair, i guess.

then they were interviewed -- if any of them had plans to move TO israel - and these were dozens and dozens of them - both old and young generations - and they said "NO...we are IRANIANS -- we are jewish -- we are few of course , and descended from the old times when jews had to seek safety elsewhere - and so established in iran ....but we are IRANIAN and we are thriving in peace in iran".

But Israel offers a lot of incentives for migration. For most people that is a lot of money to turn down.Little do they consider that when they immigrate, some native of the land also loses just as much as he gains.

The biggest enemy to Christianity is the USA. The biggest Cathedral in the Orient 1945 was the Urakami Cathedral, in Nagasaki. It was the heart of Christianity in Japan until the USA dropped the bomb right on top of the Church. Coincidence? Even if it was pagan, city no deserves to be annihilated like that.

American Christianity has always been about power and money. They no longer hide it; it is the home of the prosperity gospel. Synagogue of Satan meet the Church of Satan. It is no surprise these prosperity preachers seem to be 100% Zionists.

american's have done the same with christianity as they have done with their ice cream and now have many flavours of both.

teddyfromcd • 7 years ago

this is what is called the american way ..every which way and anyone can become an ''expert" -- all one has to have is the GALL to declare it even if completely unsuited and un-qualified...why? because enough people will buy it.

in america practically every congregation - of the protestant variety since the cathollic church is too ''centralized" for that -- is a ''denomination'' of its own..which is promoted as an expression of the american ''rugged individualism" ....except that it's varieties of self-made experts after going to some 'seminary' for credentials.

but the rest is ''mix and match" and voila a new concoction of ''the message of salvation from our lord and savior jesus"

who is of course treated like a 'personal lord and savior" - verging on being anyone's BOYFRIEND...it's really quite strange, frankly.

teddyfromcd • 7 years ago

may i just say that -- being one of the readers -- you are also addressing someone who, in my capacity as musician -- naturally has had his stint with working for churches..name the major denominations -- i'd done it...some longer, some substituting ..whatever...

lutheran, methodist, episcopalian, baptist, presbyterian, and i will tell you from having been in the 'inside' -- "required attendance and showing enthusiasm in meetings" - where they talk about dogma -- and above all - money (heck they actually discuss profiteering insurance business) - argue about how the church gets the assets of a member who's about to die...

it is all about MONEY. WRAPPED IN THE RAGS OF JESUS CHRIST. that's the ''american" christianity for ya. SAME with the industry of ''nursing homes' in which i also worked with seniors -- often with RELIGIOUS names...but behidn the scenes everything is about ''cutting costs" -- 'cutting pensions" - 403 K (more contribution from the paychecks - less from management which they call ''being individually responsible") -- ''work more for less pay" -- by saying ''we want to maximize worker potential to serve our beloved seniors" ...

the USA -- wrapped in its ''christian values' and godly values is nothing but one gigantic BUSINESS complex whose REAL god is - and only -- PROFIT.

THIS IS its very culture , psychological make-up, identity, and only reason for existence...and this is something RUSSIANS need to understand is DIFFERENT FROM THEM.

EVEN PUTIN does NOT understand it as fully as he should when he talks about 'american population supportive or sharing some of our views".

no -- it's not like that at all.

on the SURFACE -- if surface means "finding a job, having a house, a car, a family, raising kids, " -- then there ARE similarities with russians, with chinese, with iranians, with palestinians, with africans, with everyone.

but THAT IS EXACTLY IT about america - it is 'similar in surface concerns" that all humans share...

but what it all is FOR -- is DIFFERENT in its very essence -- the ''achievements or dreams" in life for america is about MATERIAL POSSESSION for ITS OWN SAKE AND TO PROFIT MORE in order to have MORE material possessions

and has NOTHING to do with SIGNIFICANCE OF THE REAL QUESTIONS OF LIFE...

what a HOUSE IS REALLY FOR - and the people IN IT -- and what they appreciate about life...

houses are ''investments" - jobs are 'status' - and money - to BUY things...and THAT'S WHERE IT ENDS.

THIS is where russians from putin down to the most ordinary need to udnerstand that americans are DIFFERENT TO THE CORE because that is the reality they have . that is what they are born into , and that is what - AND ALL and everything they expect for:

MONEY.

gerryhiles • 7 years ago

Ah teddy, but it can all be justified (selectively) can't it. Take the parable of the vineyard, wherein the luckiest man got the most money to speculate with - so could afford to make some mistakes. Also the next man to some extent, whereas the least lucky didn't get enough to speculate with, saved what he had and got thrown out. Raw capitalism eh! And there's more that goes against the opposite notion that the rich cannot "enter the kingdom of god'.
.
It's little wonder that there are hundreds, if not thousands of Christian sects. The word "catholic" means "comprehensive in interests or tastes" and indeed Catholicism split into numerous monastic orders (under one notional "umbrella") long before Protestantism introduced many more strains of the "one faith". This is one reason for why I cannot believe ... I find myself like Socrates having questioned all of the beliefs of his day, so as to find that there were as many versions as people to have them ... but all claiming to have "the truth". So he ended up with only one sure belief, i.e. that he did not know. Not too many U$Americans are like that.

teddyfromcd • 7 years ago

you just reminded me of a real incident i personally witnessed long ago, Gerry.

when i was still in music graduate school - one of my scholarship and fellowship duties was to be assigned - also as a credit course -- to play piano, accompanying in classes and lessons - instrumentalists and vocal - master-classes...recitals etc..

there was this really top quality german/austrian teacher -- feared because of her very high standards (god -- to be ''allowed" or get her to accept an assigned pianist people had to be auditioned EXTRA by HER ) -

she in her younger and singing days in europe was rubbing shoulders with great composers -- mahler, schoenberg, strauss, etc..performing their works and closely working with them -- so you know what i mean.

anyway -- one of her grad students was giving her grad recital in the big hall (i wasn't the painist) and this singer sang everything perfectly , just as the score required and all that vocal technique blah, blah...

and she was of the very rich families in TEXAS -- who could afford to get an entire airline to jet to new york city their friends for THAT occasion..
at the reception -- one of these rich, bejewelled high society people - a woman approached the teacher - - as some of us were of course around her circle...and this woman with her sweet, so pure smile -- gives the congratulations:

"oh what a wonderful program --!! madame...we were all looking forward to this as our church in texas will surely be so proud of our young lady - she's married to our pastor you know....oh congratulations to you for such a wonderful work with our dear girl!!...

"nd oh - by the way madame....have you been saved? have you received our lord jesus into your heart? have you been BORN AGAIN?"

t which the teacher -- snapped |"no - i have not been born again..thank you very mch but i was born once before and that's ENOUGH for me"!!

lol.

lter in lessons days after -- she said: "that woman!! born again? saved? how they don't know what hell it was teaching that girl -- right up to that recital she didn't sing what the music and poetry required -- the lieder required abandon....sexual matters, mignone and her horrors -- hugo wolf is not some pure little child!! and i could never get the girl to understand that music is not about what she thinks her husband says in church!! no passion at all, wht are they thinking?" !!''i told her different times what was needed to portray and she refuses saying "oh but madame -- this is not what jesus would like"!!!

''i am RELIEVED she's out of my studio at last!!".

roflmao....

gerryhiles • 7 years ago

Very revealing anecdote teddy. It's hard or impossible to replace first hand experience, certainly book learning alone cannot, hence a myriad so-called "psychologists" who do not have a clue and zero empathy in some cases.
.
I got "born again" briefly when I was about sixteen at a "revival meeting" ... it wore off in about a couple of months and I put it down to mass hysteria, like the Nuremburg rallies at an extreme.

gerryhiles • 7 years ago

Not to detract from your point Sam, but it's only fair to say that this US travesty has it's origins in Europe and Britain especially.
.
A particular case in point. Canterbury Cathedral, the "capital" of the Church of England and, before that of the Catholic Church from way back.
.
I regard Canterbury as my "spiritual home" for special reasons which I won't go into, BUT my boyhood impressions are tempered by the fact that, as much as anything else, the Cathedral is a monument to and subtle glorification of numerous wars. It, like the State, is a continuation of imperial history dating back over 1,000 years, if not to Saxon times prior to the Norman invasion of 1066.
.
The present Empire of Chaos, centred in Washington DC, is successor to/continuation of the (City of) London Empire on which "the Sun never set", but not truly global - that had to wait 'til now, except for countries which have tried to opt out.
.
Iran and Russia are largely succeeding, but witness the fate of those which have not, e.g. Yugoslavia, Iraq and Libya, to name but a few, though things are changing - witness the ongoing defeat of the Empire in Syria.

I have recently visited Hiroshima. The Atomic dome. The Atomic Museum. The scale of destruction cannot be described in words. I came away from that visit DEEPLY shocked, humbled and horrified to the CORE, me, a hardened combat soldier. Until I visited Hiroshima, I had thought I had seen it all. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were WAR CRIMES of unimaginable scale, far greater than the alleged "gassing" of jews. Almost seven THOUSAND children between the ages of 12 and 15 were within 1,000 metres of the hypo-centre than fateful morning. Almost a third were never found. The rest died within 72 hours from burns and radiation poisoning. At the children's shrine, I could barely hold back tears, I had to turn away. Even as I write this, I still feel the shock and horror of the enormity of this event. Do NOT EVER speak lightly about the use of nuclear weapons. You do NOT comprehend what you are wishing for. That is all. https://uploads.disquscdn.c...https://uploads.disquscdn.c...https://uploads.disquscdn.c...https://uploads.disquscdn.c...

Must have been quite a sobbering holiday Bob. This was america's great experiment to investigate the effects of a nuclear attack on humans. They just needed a target.
All talk of using the device to save thousands of american servicemen is bogus.

Isabella Jones • 7 years ago

Also it seems to be on record Peter that they wanted to frighten Russia. They wanted to impress on Russia that they were the strongest - and keep Russia out of the East, out of Japan, which they succeeded in doing.
But it has helped to strengthen the steel in modern Russia's rulership I think. There is an interview with V. V. in which he says [of America's aggression towards Russia] "America is the only country to use a nuclear weapon on an unarmed country - one which didn't have nuclear weapons. Did you expect us to forget this, to just wipe it out of our minds? - No. "
It's an evil that takes the breath away, that one can find no words for.

Kiev Ukrainians dancing in the streets

http://rusvesna.su/news/148...

Isabella Jones • 7 years ago

That is so sick it passes comprehension. God knows what is in their heads and consciousness, but I thank God I dont' have to live there!!!
They will always exist Vtran. We need to ignore them as they deserve: The Universe will deal them as it sees fit. But they should never, ever, be allowed into OUR lives and minds. They don't deserve to have any space at all in my mind - or yours.

Vtran • 7 years ago

Isabella. A lot stems from Radio Free Europe/ Radio Liberty that U$ Americans have broadcast to the USSR long before it broke up and still continues today !
-
So the Kiev Ukrainians have the same mentality that U$ Americans have over the Native Americans (Red Indians ) that Native Americans are BAD, they are Savages and they Need to be Put Down ... when in reality it is the reverse !
-
Until that is changed the situation will not change !

Isabella Jones • 7 years ago

True - I had forgotten that evil emanating from those US stations in europe. How many minds have they mangled I wonder? And still are. It s a self generation sickness, once they get the germ of Post modernist "libertarian" totalitarian thought in.
We need some sort of "clean sweep" but since that seems unlikely, I'd say that, once again, Europe will have to sink to the bottom of mire, to be on the verge of extinction, before people maybe wake up and start to change track. As we said before - a few generations possibly, and long after we have moved on.

Bindar Dunit • 7 years ago

however, Americans have seemingly forgotten OR never realized the enormous part played by State Dept ( Asst Sec, (Neocon) Victoria Nuland & her spouse, Robert Kagan) to foment chaos /in cahoots with CIA & to evict duly elected Ukrainian president to gain more of a foothold in plans to ring Russia with NATO missiles, et al....and neocons's fervent wish to impose 'regime change' in Russia as well as entire M/E as well. much more to say but will stop here...thx.

We have just had three days of Russian get together's .. another later today ..... discussed Ukraine ... where a pensioners (more than minimum per month ) is less than the Gaz bill for the Month ... and Ukrainians do not blame Porky, but Russia for that plight !
-
Now Porky is preparing Ukraine to be without Donbas for 2 years ... they intend to place a total Blockade on the Donbas area and then believe Donbas then will be returned as people will revolt against starvation !
-
There is no hope for Ukraine in this Generation - thanks to Evil U$ Americans !

Isabella Jones • 7 years ago

What is wrong with them that they blame Russia for what is so clearly the fault of a combination of forces - mainly US Hegemon Devils and the bad of Ukraine. Porky and crew pushing this insane "Ukrainianism" and violent Russophobia are Ukrainians after all.
If they do blockade the Donbas, they will push Russia to act to include them in Russia somehow I think, the people of Donbas will never, ever, forgive the Kiev Ukrainians. Never.

Vtran • 7 years ago

Go go to Ukraine today ... see the hatred that "flows" from their lips !
-
Suspect few of then are even Ukrainian ... but the hatred towards RF knows no bounds !
-
Ukrainians think High Gaz prices are because of RF .. Agree, Ukraine does not buy Gaz from RF ... but RF is still to blame ! There is no logic .. other than sheer hatred !
-
Agree ... cannot ever see Donbas ever being part of Kiev Ukraine ever again .... too many deaths, too many children have died, lost limbs, missed school and living in Bunkers as told by Poroshenko; too many homes destroyed and above all too much hatred !
-
In all this time Kiev Ukrainians call Donbas part of Ukraine ... and Kiev Ukrainians do not pay Pensions, Benefits, pay School grants ... pay nothing to Donbas ... and then call the region part of Ukraine !!
-
Today .... TV program Russian Debate Program .... there was a call to stand up, 1 minute Silence ... 2 Ukrainian's in the audience (both sporting traditional hair cuts), 1 stood disgruntlement ... 1 refused, even when personally asked, still refused ... was forceably removed !
-
We once had Ukrainian friends ... after maidan they became nationalistic ... at best they are acquaintances now .... We received a Txt from one of them on 25th Dec saying all these Russian Deaths of Late (including Russian Choir) are GODS WILL ... because of how Russian Are ... Number deleted / Blocked !
-

Isabella Jones • 7 years ago

It's a horrible thing to see Vtran, and for me impossible to understand. I cannot accept that this swift move towards hatred is a thing found everywhere. There are "haters" in every country, every race, every people. But these people calling themselves Ukrainians, when we know from genetic as well as historic evidence are no different to Russians in any way except by some sort of perverted choice, why there seem to be so many, and so irrational, that totally passes my understanding.
I know that - as you said - they have been subjected to US Radio brainwashing for years, probably for life for most of them - but so has most of Europe. Yet although there is a degree of it among Europeans, mostly Balkans and Germany I think - it's not that extensive, nor so virulent. But there truly is something ghastly living in the minds of these "Ukrainians".
I remember Dmitry Orlov on his blog saying a traditional Russian "curse" on someone who had truly gone beyond the pale was "Go to Hell - and remember to take Galicia with you". So I am assuming there are a separate people, Galicians, who are also part of that part of Ukraine which is so filled with this hatred.
What a dreadful thing was done, forcing these peoples to try and live together. I can only hope it is all resolved soon, and by separating out the "Galicians", the haters, from the Russians, and returning the part of Ukraine populated by Russians to the Motherland - and let the others get on with living their horrible Russia hating lives.

Vtran • 7 years ago

Agree Isabella, it is very horrible and very difficult to understand the hatred and obscenity level !
-
Agree it cannot all come from Radio broadcasts .... however, if you had been in Ukraine over the last 2 years, 9 months, you would have been aware that all Russian TV / Radio Programs have been removed; TV reports 100% Kiev Ukrainian Propaganda 24 hours a day ... every day; Films that show Russian Victory are edited, with that segment removed; If you talk Russian on the streets you may be killed or at least beaten; All Russian Internet sites are blocked !
-
But even that is not enough ... Kiev Ukrainians are jealous / envious of Russians ... those in Western Ukraine were always envious of those in Eastern Ukraine as there were always jobs in that region (mines, industry, factory's etc) as majority of jobs in Western Ukraine was lower paid agriculture.
-
Add the Fascist, UPA, Nazism element - Western Ukrainians were trying to negotiate with Nazi Germany to be a separate state of Germany ... joined the Nazi War machine ( post ww2, not all were found .... many lived in the forest for years, before coming out )... so they were waiting for their time again ...
-
But in USSR days, you were encourage to move around the republics ... so many Russians in Ukraine region and so the differences were suppressed ... but after Independence ... many Russians left Ukraine and went back to RF ... and the fascism / Nazism rose again slowly ... but come Maidan, come the west with tales (propaganda), civil war ... the hatred now Runs Deep !!!
-
And so with Loyalty, easy and swift to break / destroy ... years / if ever to regain that trust .... just as it will be generations and generations to restore Libya ... if ever !

XRGRSF • 7 years ago

Bob, I had a small, but unique experience involving Hiroshima. Long ago in a place far away my commanding officer was Paul Tibbits nephew. I was invited to meet privately with general Tibbits, and I took the chance of asking his opinion of the Hiroshima mission. As best I can remember his reply was, "I was given my orders, and I carried them out. Foremost in my mind was bringing my men back safely. There was no reason for that bomb, you know, Japan was finished, and all we had to do was wait."

Saipan was another great example of that insane lust to attack. The US Marines invaded Saipan, lost thousands of men, and killed thousands of Japanese when they could have just bypassed the island. Later the Marine general staff said that they went with the mission because all of the planning had been completed, and they were committed. No one had the balls to push the stop button.

As you, and I have discussed in the past some orders are best not carried out, but as soldiers we have our duty. However, as was the case with Hiroshima, and Saipan, frequently it's all for nothing. It seems that this is man's destiny, and I have no doubt that it will continue.....until it stops.

BobValdez • 7 years ago

Ask the Germans at Nuremburg what happens when you "just follow orders". It's strange that Japan only attacked a military installation in Hawaii and yet the us FIREBOMBED CIVILIAN cities, all in revenge for their humiliation at Pearl Harbor. The us command KNEW an attack was coming, but were completely taken by surprise that the Japanese aircraft carriers got so close without being detected, and as such were not prepared for the size and ferocity of the attack. In the end, all the us forces in the Pacific needed to do was throw a cordon across the Pacific to CONTAIN the Japanese and they would have been made ineffective. When Stalin chose to attack Manchuria, THIS and THIS ALONE, convinced the Emperor to surrender. The Japanese were going to fight to the last person to prevent a land invasion of Japan, which would have cost MILLIONS of lives on both sides. The Japanese also didn't know the us only had 2 bombs, but were willing to sacrifice their lives to fight for their country.

Nuclear WILL destroy us, unless we can move away to friendlier methods, they will blindly continue with their increase of power plants... How many have gone up around the world ?
The idea of a nuclear war, the threat of which has been there in the background of all my life... Sometimes it has become very close, but never as close as we are now. There is very little thought for the future of our children's, children's children... I believe it's where we should be focusing our attention, instead of this relentless insanity that seems to rule the majority today...

Iran has an ancient history of tolerance, agriculture, food, poetry, architecture, medicine, arts and humanity.

John McClain • 7 years ago

I have studied the history of Iran ever since the events of 79, which occurred while I was on my first tour in the Corps. I was outraged because "My Brothers" were killed, and harbored a grudge for years, altered with my time spent in Beirut, over the winter of 82-83, but being a Marine, I deliberately failed to follow news, to keep from questioning orders, on the premise my leaders were certain to ensure good cause for any action we would ever be sent to, and still believing "most of government" was honest.
I've been retired for 19 years now, and only now know most of what "my service" and that of my peers of the time, was completely for the purpose of moving the "new world order" forward, to fight those who have refused to bow to my government's intent to move the world under its dominion, and this is solely because I've worked hard to figure out why "our plans" have caused such havoc, and not being willing to be told, but delving in the subject personally, and getting the facts.
I have high hopes the changes that have come, and those we hope to see coming if Mr. Trump chooses to stand on principles as he has suggested is going to be. I have come to realise We, The American People, have utterly failed to remain in charge, to maintain our natural Sovereignty, and keep "the rule of law" over our government, and we can only ever get our country to "right" if we choose to assume our proper, responsible status as "Sovereign Citizens", and remember we allow government only what we allow by our "deliberate consent".
No change to government, no action from "the powers" can ever restore our proper republic, only "We, The People" remembering we are either sovereign, and therefore responsible, or we are subjects, and have no rights nor responsibilities, but no right to complain either. We established a sound form with our republic, but it has always been true "power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely", and when "The People" ceased to demand respect for our opinion, and reaction in government to our rightful demands, those who had already established the ways of accumulating power took that as opportunity to form government in their own way for their purposes, and in doing so, set our authority aside, and ultimately deleted it, after we became accustomed to despotic rule.
It is the rise of Russia, the finally confronting of our government's evil in Syria, which has given those Americans desiring our Republic back, the first bit of hope we've had to overthrow these criminals, and reset our relations with a world we don't know, for all the propaganda that has been the main part of "news" for all my life. I now have hopes that God has intervened, and we won't be the nation which brings the end times, for our purpose.
Americans must choose to find cause to ridicule the media, to find cause to educate ourselves, and let the "public education" hang its self, so we can take control of our government, and keep it under the rule of law, because such an opportunity should not be missed.
God Bless you all this Holy Christmas,
Semper Fidelis,
John McClain

Just compare Saudi Arabia, our "ally," with Iran. The Saudis allow NO Christian worship or importation of Bibles. There are at least 600 Christian churches in Iran. And Syria and Iraq once had thousands of Christians before that wonderful "Christian" president GW Bush intervened in Iraq and before the US supported the Arab spring in Syria. Yes, folks, while Trump is seen as anti-establishment, we need to temper him -- or at least his advisers, esp with regard to Iran.

canadien lucide • 7 years ago

Syria and Irak had millions of Christians before the criminal Irak and Syria wars.
