Houston is a very liberal city with a high black population and crime rates. And the West University area where this occurred, is predominantly high dollar population. It is also a Sanctuary City. Take those 3 aspects and you have a city where its "open season" on anyone walking to their cars any time of the day or night. Until we get power hungry Democrats out of power in these cities, the violence will continue no matter where you live.

Is Texas open carry or concealed? Not that it matters, at least you can be armed. It's probably what will have the hag cackling in delight though.
