I think that is a little unfair to write that comment as not everyone who visits Social Media Examiner are social media marketing experts.
Thanks for the post Ishita :)
Thank you Andy :) Much appriciated.
Maybe it would be wise to write the level at the beginning of each post. Like: Biggner, intermidiate, expert, social media news, etc.
I must be under a rock! I thought it was full of awesome takeaways. Admittedly, I'm no expert, just another social wonder junkie but would love to know what areas 'the disappointed reader' would have liked to have seen... This social world is a Labyrinth. Ever evolving.
It's a great article. Everybody's in social media. Thousands of businesses are pretty established. It's hard for a business/person to suddenly pop out and be big. And to do that, you have to get started the right way. It sounds "basic" but it's really helpful. Good work Ishita! :)
Can't thank you enough. :)
I don't think so. I think it's a good article for me. I started Twitter 6 years ago. I tweeted just for a while, then just didn't know how to carry on and thus stopped for quite a while. I felt that Twitter didn't have any benefits to me at that time. Recently I picked it up again and found that Twitter has improved and expand a lot. I started to read a lot to see how I can fully utilize Twitter these few days. This article is ideal for me because it gives me just the right amount of tips and can save a lot of my time reading around. Thanks Ishita. :)
Great article. Just enough ideas to implement them all but not so many that a head would explode! I like the suggestion about Google Alerts but I'm not convinced about Twitter Chats yet. One feature I love about Twitter is their Lists. You can follow back as many people as you like but only read the ones of interest by including them in a list. I'm going to follow you on Twitter as a result of this article (and I might even include you in a List!!) Spike.
Hi there,
First of all, thanks for giving the idea for my next post. :)
Yes, I missed Twitter lists in this article. It's a great tool but a little under-used. I see brands create Twitter lists and then just sit back. They just don't utilize the tool to its optimum potential.
Thanks again!
Nice article for newbies Ishita :) you can also use tools like followerwonk and Buzzsumo to find the best time for your followers, and to understand the retweeting probability of an influencer or bridge influencer.
Thanks Salman. I have used both but I really need to explore Buzzsumo more.
Sometimes even the experts can forget about the basics. I'd hate to see this site turn into a bunch of posts for super social media pros only.
Whether I learned anything from the article or not, I'm sure many people will.
Totally agree. Small stuff and seemingly simple techniques work wonders if you know how to implement them.
Hi, as a marketing advisor in the broadest sense to small organisations I have had to jump into Social Media management on behalf of clients. Which is the best tool to use for managing their SM accounts from one place? At present I have their log in details and access them all individually which is becoming a bit of pain.
Hi David, have you tried Hootsuite? It's an amazing tool.
Hi Ishita, no I haven't although I have looked at it.
This is an only US service as I can see?
Sorry Frank, I did not get you. What service did you refer to?
Hello Ishita Ganguly
This is a great article and has opened my eyes more towards Twitter. I will be honest, I still don't understand the love for twitter, but have decided that it is a must learn and this article has moved me much closer to the end game with that.
Thanks
David
Didn't expect to recieve such a basic article from Social Media Examiner.
