Instead of saying.....covert whole of the world into christianity....they are twisting the words and saying.....reach the unreached. This is to make the probable converts to feel that it is a voluntary conversion instead of making them realise that it is a very well planned conversion. They are hitting hard at the weak point of Hinduism to destabilise the Hindu society ie Casteism. The low caste people and economically lower class people are targetted for conversion by offering them money, livelyhood, a sense of riding caste disparities. Upper strata people are targetted by social interactions, gatherings and sometimes clandestinely using psychedelic drugs to induce psychological traumas which is neutralised when they visit Churches in the hope of curing themselves ie often with anti-dotes in the name of holy water, biscuit to drink or eat.

This article had me scratching my head. I couldn't believe what I was reading! "Really?!" I though over and over again. It was amazing.

But after I decided to check out a source the author provided (the one about the SIL being a destructive force in the world), I realized I had been fooled. Glad I didn't read the rest of the article. What a disappointing article. Well written, but poorly sourced. Fiction masquerading as fat. And that ruined it. The author needs real sources, not stuff from self-help sections of Barnes and Noble. Check out the link he provides about SIL above. It references a new age superconsciousness/spiritual book that is chock full of conspiracy theories and lacking any citations for evidence of its wild claims about SIL. It's one thing to say a Bible distributor is peddling CIA propaganda. It's another to prove it. And this entire post reeks of unscholarly smut.

Foreign conspiracy theorists are no different from homegrown American ones. What they both have in common is a lack of scholarly concern for first-rate sources. That one book I brought up, which the author referenced, "Beyond Homo Sapiens - Enlightened Faith", is the modern equivalent to David Icke and his lizard-people contentions, fantastic illuminati accusations, and etc. One thing I learned in critical reading is this: fantastic assertions require fantastic proof. And that book has no sources. I'm not saying this entire essay is backwards, but this source left a stink in my nostrils.

The Vatican, Evangelical, Baptist and Church of England have a structured religion. Its a very efficient administrative, humanitarian, spiritual and evangelical operation. Their code of silence and kinship means they bond for sole purpose of Christianity. Its similar to Islam and Judaism. However Hindus and Buddhist are not well structured and hence not cohesive. India must cooperate with China and Japan to put together similar structured Indic religions alliance. Temples should be granted massive land rights similar to the Mughals and British who awarded Muslim and Christian bodies respectively. Then they should be freed from government control and allowed to use the funds for evangelical and humanitarian work in addition to administration and spiritual affairs. Superb article by Arvind Kumar. A couple of observations. Romila Thapar, before shifting her allegiance to the American establishment, was not an objective scholar but one who served the British colonial interests. She not only received government scholarship for studying in the U.K. but also, I have been informed by a trustworthy academic, had an affair with her doctoral guide and mentor, A. L. Basham. These connections helped her land a teaching job. The reference to sex education in the article seem a little out of place. The author doesn't articulate how it is related to imperial designs. Otherwise, an outstanding article and must be read by all.

Good article. There were private reports that when there was a spate of Hindu-Christian tension in Orrisa, in one of the churches, about ten million dollars in cash had been recovered.
