Unless Jeremy finds another coach like D'Antoni, he'll be relegated to bench play and minimal minutes by the NBA coaches of today, who push hero ball Kobes and their ilk.

Lin is playing well. He seems to have gotten physically stronger because he is delivering punishment to any big that comes in his way and knocking them backwards. His defense has been great and his ability to be a clutch scorer and playmaker has helped Charlotte in 3 or 4 key games. His shot hasn't been there yet but it is coming along. He has had few high turnover games, but that's mostly due to offensive fouls from challenging the defense. His ball handling and passing have been good. However, he isn't getting the regular minutes he needs. I doubt that Charlotte makes the playoffs without him playing 25-30 min per game. Basically, if he were shooting well, he'd probably be averaging closer to 20 pts per game.
