Whats the use of being a so called educated man when elected as govt official you become inept, liar & corrupt official.

The President is correct. That is one of the reasons why I never subscribe to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. I feel (my own opinion) that those social media are of no use.

Aquino: Let’s finish our assignments before making a raid in the Clash of Clans.

SAF44 families: tell that to yourself! look at what you have failed to do when you green lighted the raid in mamasapano without first finishing your assignments and all the preparations necessary for such high profile tactical mission.

To Students: Open your Internet, NOT your Books. School books now a days are outdated. Developed countries give laptops to their high school student, instead of books for research...

Well, Aquino needs to open his mind too. He has to realize that he does not have the monopoly of constructive criticisms. No one has. That those who give him constructive criticisms do not necessarily make them against whatever Daang Matuwid is nowadays.

"Open your books, not Facebook.
This advice to students at Tarlac National High School comes from one who used to be chided for playing PSP (PlayStation Portable) at work."

LOL ! Aah classic..

The books approved by DepEd is full of lies, half truth and outdated. Internet is a lot better source of information. At least the cojuangco-aquino bastards can't control Internet the way they did with our school's history books.

still a long way to go for our educational system

children elsewhere in the world are equipped with electronic notebooks where they jot their notes and assignments, read their books and answer their workbooks; and where they could also interact with their teachers online

we are still addressing our backlogs in chairs tables books classrooms teachers
oh and yes, our teachers are poorly paid too

why? because we are not allotting adequate funding for education compared with other countries, particularly in asia

we are still one of those allocating a meager percentage of our budget for education

deped is doing its best i know, but methinks their best is not yet good enough

perhaps if deped was like the military establishment, or the public works, they could lobby for more funds as easily because those that approve the budget (congress) would notice that they could squeeze more money from the department. otherwise...kung kulang naman ang kikitain diyan sa deped e bakit bibigyan pa yan ng malaking share sa budget. ganun siguro 'yun. hehe

sabi sakin ng isang student, eh sa facebook pede maglike at makatanggap ng like. sa book di daw pede gawin yun.

SanaWalangInternet • 9 years ago

That is a good advice from the president.

But what if the books either have very old contents or their contents are wrong? Do those people from DepEd go to jail for not doing their job?

Jun Virola • 9 years ago

Not to trivialize the issue, but I also know first-hand of students who collaborate through FB on their projects and homeworks, exchanging notes and ideas, coordinating activities and organizing resources towards a common goal, very much like that of a peer-to-peer network environment in online multi-player games. This is very different from the President playing PSP games at work, which can be rationalized as shifting between focused and diffuse mode of thinking to maximize productivity, or simply taking a break. :)

correct!

LOL! It's amazing how yellowturds are abandoning Boy Sissy articles and are now camping on all articles about inferior secretary MARia. It's almost as if they really really believe they did a good job propping up this stupid government and want to lend their "magic" to help their losing candidate succeed.

hindi lahat nang nakikita sa FB ay totoo. kasi if you really are rich and successful hindi na kailangan pa malaman nang buong mundo diba? this is why countries like Germany, Japan and even other countries are not so much on FB they really use it to get in touch with friends and relatives. hindi nakababad at hindi nilalagay ang isang katerbang litrato!

nagkakaruon lang nang culture of tsimis kamo at lalong culture nang inggit! kaya lalo marami ang na de depress kasi i want that too mentality! use FB the right way but most important is reading! kaya wala nang marunong mag-basa!
