My daughter Joy was born at 23 weeks in 2012 and I talked to her through her isolette all of the time! Due to modern medicine and
prayers she is doing great today. I hemorrhaged at 17 weeks for the first
of 4 times because of 100% placenta previa, which turned into placenta
accreta (which I believe was caused by 3 prior c-sections). After she came
home from 121 days in the NICU, I wrote a memoir called "From Hope To
Joy" about my life-threatening
pregnancy and my daughter's 4 months in
the NICU (with my 3 young sons at
home), which is now available on both the Amazon
and Barnes&Noble websites. It was quite a roller
coaster that I am certain
some of you have been on or are currently riding on. My mission is to provide
hope to women struggling with
high-risk pregnancies, encourage expectant
mothers to educate themselves before
electing cesarean deliveries, provide
families of premature babies a realistic
look at what lies ahead in their NICU
journey, and show that miracles can
happen, and hope can turn into joy.

Most positive cultural contributions are not made by members of Mensa, but from a diverse set of people. A society driven by high IQ people alone might have "amazing" financial derivatives (designed by "Quants"), but be devoid of Jazz.

Premies generally are not retarded, contrary to your implication.
You will no doubt not recall that Hitler first applied his eugenics "final solution" to retarded people, since they were obviously a drain on his brave new world. So his minions first set up gas chambers for them. It was so successful he expanded the final solution to gays, gypsies, and Jews. Yup, "diversity" people. Your favorite to "breed less of" as you wrote before.
Or maybe you propose a little less vigorous solution, like putting retarded people in closets and not feeding them so much.
Of course it's all irrelevant to the premies, since they're not retarded.
Of course unusual people who can't write in a clear way, should be given every advantage because they are white and male. Like you, for instance.

Are you saying that the baby is defective for being born early? Or, the mother for not carrying full term?
Let's not forget the need for the baby to attach to mom and so by hearing her voice, first contact is made.
