As usual you have the pro-Israeli comments here trying to justify their indefensible acts of theft and apartheid. There is no justification under international law for this occupation and Israel's illegal settlements (Under UN resolution 242) and the fact that these people's lives are heavily influenced by Israel's occupation and these people have no right to vote in Israeli elections legitimises Israel's status as an apartheid state. There is no valid excuse to occupy another people even for security reasons, the best you can do is defend yourself when attacked, and you lose that right when you're occupying another people, because then its them that have the right to self-defence under international law. Therefore, the attacking of soldiers in the occupied territories is actually justified as part of arms resistance against an occupying power, on the other hand, the imprisonment of Palestinians as a result of that and the demolishment of the homes of their families is completely illegal. And rest assured the continuation of these policies will only radicalize more Palestinians, but some of these pathetic apologists live their privileged lives never having to come to terms with what a humiliating occupation feels like, so they continue playing the victim and parroting their BS.

"... making genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinian Muslims and Christians acceptable in the name of Judaism." The concept and claim is a complete lie. In fact 20% of Israeli citizens are Muslim and Christian Arabs with equal rights under the law. Furthermore, Christian communities and populations have been and are being decimated and persecuted throughout the Muslim countries of the Middle East, while the Christian population of Israel has increased.

Baby Siqueira Abrão • 9 years ago

It's a lie, RCCA. Palestinians living in Israel has no "equal rights under the law". Try to read carefully the Israeli laws and you'll know that only Israelis has rights. Palestinians cannot buy properties, are not considered citizens (only Jews can be citizens of Israel), face military courts (Israelis face civil courts), see their houses demolished or occuppied by Israeli Jews, are victims of daily persecution and so on. (Sorry for the mask published near my name. It's is now a sign of fascist forces in the world. Unfortunately it comes automaticaly; I had no power to change it, but I'd tried.)

dubinsky • 8 years ago

you too ignorant to know the difference between palestinians who are not living in Israel and the Arab citizens of Israel ...who are fully citizens and are reflected in the government, having served in the legislature and on the High Court?

you are an appalling dummass fool.

WaveRunnerMN • 8 years ago

Jeez Doobie are you informing your readers that both the UN and other Western nations attempted to stop the emigration of J3ws to Israel with the same logic. Palestinians have every right to emigrate to Palestine. This is Palestinian business and not yours not and ZioPath

dubinsky • 8 years ago

indeed they have a right to go to Palestine.

they don't have a right to go to Israel.

RCCA • 9 years ago

That's absurd and untrue that only Jews can be citizens of Israel. Muslims, Christians, Druze, Bahai, as well as Jews are citizens. What surprises me is when people like you make up lies which are so easy to expose -- are you so lazy you can't check it out or do you expect other people to be?

I've read all the Basic Law of Israel, RCCA. I know exactly what I am saying. I'm a researcher and the Palestinian question have been being my theme for almost 10 years.

RCCA • 8 years ago

Well, if you are talking about Palestinians who are not citizens of Israel, then of course they do not have the rights of citizens. As far as I understand they do not want to be citizens of Israel and in fact want the state of Israel to disappear. If someone says they want to kill you normally you do not have to provide him with a gun and load the bullets for him, unless he's a Palestinian. Right?

Only Jews have the citizenship which can be conferred through marriage (or adoption). Other "citizens" aren't even able to bring their new spouse into the country as a resident. The status of various other citizenships other than "real" Jewish Israelis has changed periodically, many times, of course.

dubinsky • 8 years ago

given that the state of Israel is not at peace with the Palestinians and some other Arab nations, the security situation dictates that Arab-Israelis, who are likely to marry into families who are hostile to the existence of Israel, are not automatically able to confer citizenship on their spouses.

it's just something to deal with until peace comes and is formalized.

Arachne646 • 8 years ago

This is called apartheid. When Israel is doing everything it can to ensure that "peace" talks are used as opportunities to "appropriate" more Palestinian land, and when an Israeli politician famous for a genocidal quote about those "little snakes" breeding in Palestinian homes is the next Justice Minister in the new coalition Cabinet; we must all support BDS, and press our elected representatives to cut support to Israel. Only the same pressure that ended apartheid in South Africa will induce Israel to comply with international law. Palestinian authorities must do so also.

dubinsky • 8 years ago

no, that's not what any but ignorant people would call it, you poor deluded creature.

during WWII, Japanese-Americans who married citizens of Japan would not have find their new spouses granted automatic citizenship.... while today they would.

Palestinian "authorities" conform to no law at all...... the ones in Gaza are flat-out terrorist criminals.

WaveRunnerMN • 8 years ago

Well at least your point of view is correct, "Not at peace..." like no shit...since Ben Gurion and the haganah declared Palestinians a non human species and deserving of eradication.

Palestinian Arabs started that crap, you douchenozzle.

in 1920 the Arabs were murdering random Jews while chanting "Palestine is our land, the Jews are our dogs!"

you're such a sick and ignorant little turd

RCCA • 9 years ago

What do you really expect when you have Arab Israeli citizens demonstrating with Palestinian flags at Nakba demonstrations? Still, when asked if they would rather be Israelis or citizens of a new Palestinian state most Arabs choose to be citizens of Israel.

Arachne646 • 9 years ago

Truth hurts, doesn't it? As for citizenship, better the devil you know, I guess.

RCCA • 8 years ago

The truth is that some people have a victim mentality but when push comes to shove they know they ain't got it so bad after all. Some Israeli Arabs have the brains to participate fully as citizens but some are losers, complainers, looking to cause trouble just for the sake of causing trouble.

From the mayor, "... We can be shocked at a mayor who prefers that his city, which is right next to the largest Arab city in Israel, retain a Jewish majority and not be swallowed up in the Arab area that surrounds it. There will not be a single Jew in the future Palestinian state, but that’s all right. That isn’t racism.

Upper Nazareth is a Jewish city. Fewer than one-fifth of its inhabitants are Arab citizens, and they enjoy full municipal and national rights. Many of them are friends of mine, and I like and respect many of them. I could wish that Jews were treated the way the Arabs of Upper Nazareth are — not only those Jews who lived in Europe of times past, but also those who live in the Arab countries of today. If that were the case, perhaps we of Upper Nazareth would have no need to be 'racists.'"

As Jesus suggested, Don't complain about the speck in someone else's eye when you've got a beam in your own. There are plenty of villages in Israel that are 100% Arab and no one is complaining about that. http://www.haaretz.com/opin...

But they can't have even a shelf of books, or an after-school program in the Library, let alone a branch, for their tax dollars.

RCCA • 8 years ago

I can not comment further as I am not familiar with the details. I think you are missing the point deliberately in an attempt to defame Israel. The article talked about an Arab school in a Jewish neighborhood in a predominantly Arab town, so they have plenty of services available in the Arab sections of the town. Suspect you are deliberately misrepresenting the situation by suggesting there are no services available for Arabs. That's just wrong. What are your feelings about Arabs rioting at the thought of Jews praying on the Temple Mount?

Robert Munro • 9 years ago

A single state solution is ONLY valid if ALL Palestinian refugees have full right-of-return and voting rights. The Judeo-Fascists of Israel have forfeited any justification they might have had to an exclusive state through their treachery, brutality, corruption, ongoing attempts at genocide/ethnic cleansing and continuous nuclear threats against their neighbors and the world.

HERE ARE 2000 YEARS OF THE SELF-STYLED “CHOSEN”……….

2000 years ago: (Torah and Talmud)
Baba Mezia 114a-114b. "Only Jews are human" (Talmud)
Sanhedrin 58b. "If a Gentile hits a Jew, the Gentile must be killed. Hitting a Jew is the same as hitting God." (Talmud)
"A Jew should and must make a false oath when the non-Jew asks if our books contain anything against them."
-Szaaloth-Utszabot, The Book of Jore 17
"Jews are human beings, but the nations of the world are not human beings but beasts..." -Saba Mecia 114, 6
"When the Messiah comes every J6w will have 2800 slaves."-Simeon
Haddarsen, fol. 56D

Modern Judaism:
Rabbi Yitzhak Ginsburg, head of the Kever Yossev Yeshiva (school of Talmud) in Nablus stated:
"The blood of the Jewish people is loved by the Lord; it is therefore redder and their life is preferable."
"The killing by a Jew of a non-Jew is considered essentially a good deed, and Jews should therefore have no compunction about it."

"The Jewish people as a whole will become its own Messiah. It will attain world domination by the dissolution of other races, by the abolition of frontiers, the annihilation of monarchy and by the establishment of a world republic in which the Jews will everywhere exercise the privilege of citizenship.
In this New World Order, the children of Israel will furnish all the leaders without encountering opposition. The Governments of the different peoples forming the world republic will fall without difficulty into the hands of the
Jews. It will then be possible for the Jewish rulers to abolish private property and everywhere to make use of the
resources of the state.
Thus will the promise of the Talmud be fulfilled, in which it is said that when the Messianic time is come, the Jews will have all the property of the whole world in their hands."
Baruch Levy, Letter to Karl Marx (1879), printed in La Revue de Paris, p. 574, June 1, 1928

"Our race is the Master Race. We J6ws are divine gods on this planet. We are as different from the inferior races as they are from insects. In fact, compared to our race, other races are beasts and animals,
cattle at best. Other races are considered as human excrement. Our destiny is to rule over the inferior races. Our earthly kingdom will be ruled by our leader with a rod of iron. The masses will lick our feet and serve us as our slaves." -
Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin in a speech to the Knesset quoted in Begin and the Beasts," New Statesman, June 25, 1982 by Amnon Kapeliouk. (Kapeliouk was a highly respected Israeli journalist. New Statesman is a political journal in the UK).

Ovadia Yosef, late Chief Rabbi of Israel and "spiritual" leader/advisor to various Israeli Prime Ministers,
including Netanyahu (2001):
“Goyim were born only to serve us. Without that, they have no place in the world – only to serve the People of Israel."

Theodore Herzl, founder of the World Zionist Organization, speaking of the Arabs of Palestine, "Complete Diaries," June 12, 1895 entry.:
"Spirit the penniless population across the frontier by denying it employment... Both the process of expropriation and the removal of the poor must be carried out discreetly and circumspectly."

UN Resolution 242 "the right to return"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...

dubinsky • 8 years ago

sorry, but there is no valid right of return for Palestinian people born elsewhere..especially for those whose parents were born elsewhere....

Palestinians with a valid right of return are those born in Palestine...not their grandchildren or great grandchildren

Robert Munro • 8 years ago

How, then, do AshkeNAZI pseudo-Jews (actually as Caucasian as I) claim any right-of-return when they aren't even Semitic? The Jewish population of Palestine has been only a TINY fraction of the Christian and Muslim populations for 1400+ years

Get your Polak A$$ back to Poland!!!
