Savage can definitely be out there, but Brayton is either downplaying or unaware of recent goings on. The Baltimore prosecutor and the Justice Department made it clear they would countenance destruction regarding the Freddie Gray case. No one in Ferguson was even bothered in the course of that destruction. None of the death threats were scrutinized in Martin/ Zimmerman; and Lois Lerner and Hillary Clinton remain free people. Making it clear you won't pursue, let alone punish politically useful miscreants has the same effect as employing them in your cause.

lowbarpower • 8 years ago

Naked communism? In for the orgy.

carl56 • 8 years ago

Let's go to Savage's house first. Drag him out, strip him bare and mount him like a scarecrow.

Ged Hession • 8 years ago

So who's going to sign up for Savages counter-revolutionary army?

Marty Graw • 8 years ago

something is up with the food or water. flint is an example. guys like this are either water poisoned, or totally sane and know dumb rednecks will believe anything if its something bad about liberals or communists.

Cozmo the Magician • 8 years ago

None of the media covered the oregon thing. Riiiight.. Except for all the cable and internet sites that showed the actual video footage of it right after it happened. And still have it available on the net today. Uh huh, its such a well kept secret the gubmit is hiding.

GethWho • 8 years ago

Of course it's very dark in his head, he thinks black communists are climbing out of the walls to kill him.

Covfefe_Jesus • 8 years ago

Is this guy on drugs or something?

colnago80 • 8 years ago

Nah, he's just acting for the rubes.

William George • 8 years ago

If anyone can unite the Crips and the Bloods it's Sanders.

I picture it happening like the dance-off at the end of Michael Jackson's Beat It video.

Covfefe_Jesus • 8 years ago

With Bernie doing the moon walk?

Matty • 8 years ago
They shot a man dead in Oregon, the thugs from the federal government — or was it the Oregon state police?...Police are being shot like bowling pins throughout the country

So the police are thugs who kill people but shooting back is also bad?

Covfefe_Jesus • 8 years ago

"Illogical . . . Norman coordinate."

John Sirk • 8 years ago

i love that episode

Michael Neville • 8 years ago

Shooting back is good if you're white, ungood if you're not.

Anthony Barcellos • 8 years ago

Who keeps letting Savage into the strategy meetings of the Bernie Sanders campaign? Or is he getting copies of the minutes? Surely he must have some source of all this compelling insider information. Will he also share Hillary Clinton's plans? I'll bet she plans to unleash lesbian biker gangs (like Dykes on Bikes) on insecure middle-aged white males like Michael Savage. Oh, no!

colnago80 • 8 years ago

He's hardly middle aged at 74

GethWho • 8 years ago

He wishes he was in the Middle Ages. I guess that counts.

Tim Pemberton • 8 years ago

"Bernie is a streetfighter."

Well, damn, turns out Savage is right...

Michael Neville • 8 years ago

That looks like an airfield, not a street.

GethWho • 8 years ago

It's a street for planes, I guess?

DingoJack • 8 years ago

K.O.!!

shot like bowling pins

I tried shooting bowling pins once. It didn't turn out well.

D. C. Sessions • 8 years ago

Woah! And I thought I had bulging veins!

Covfefe_Jesus • 8 years ago

they shot back?

wreck • 8 years ago

No, the shrapnel kept jamming the ball returner.

tim gueguen • 8 years ago

You just need to practice more, or maybe have the right pistol.

wreck • 8 years ago

That looks like fun. I'd like to try it. With a bazooka.

rascal barquecat • 8 years ago

Started by someone who made one too many gutter balls?

Michael Neville • 8 years ago

Damn, it's a competitive sport.

Jonathan Conroy • 8 years ago

Because of the shape and composition of the bowling pin, it has to be hit dead on to knock it over. The shooting skill required is how it became a thing.

General Factotum • 8 years ago

"Police are being shot like bowling pins throughout the country by you know who"

Voldemort? Since when did he get a piece?

I know of at least two fanfics where he does use a gun. One decent, one hilariously awful.

thatotherjean • 8 years ago

Shooting at bowling pins? UR doing it Rong!

Could get really expensive, too, if you practice much.

DingoJack • 8 years ago

Wouldn't a bowling ball be a lot more effective to mow down bowling pins?
Let's ask Dylan Klebold's mom...

The unused building was not "taken over" by force or otherwise. It was a closed down building that no one (to my knowledge) had any interest in visiting. The armed part can be significant or not; there wasn't anyone around to threaten. Occupy Wall Street denied public spaces to the public for months, and the left had an entirely different standard.

sugarfrosted • 8 years ago

Fascists gonna [red] bait.

Robert Templeton • 8 years ago

When someone, say Michael Savage just for fun, is consistently incorrect about doom-and-gloom predictions, it is time to back away slowly and ignore the crazy person. It is especially telling when that someone just rehashes the same prediction using a new player or cause. Whack-a-mole is fun for about ten seconds. After that, time to move on.

...the street gangs that burned down Baltimore..."

I just checked the Baltimore Sun and, apparently, the city is still there. What's going on?

Cozmo the Magician • 8 years ago

Well, Obama had it replaced with the new liberal one.

colnago80 • 8 years ago

OT but here's possibly one reason why Sanders and Trump are doing so well in the early going. Maybe Pat Buchanan's peasants with pitchforks are getting their message.

Rwanda calling, Rwanda calling.... this is Michael Savage of Radio Télévision Libre des Mille Collines.......

Jeremy Shaffer • 8 years ago
Living
inside his head must be a very, very dark place.

You can thank the evil Obama for that too. Savage refuses to buy light bulbs now they've outlawed the incandescent ones in favor of the communist CFLs and LEDs*.

* Not meant to be a factual statement outside of Savage's head. Look, it's dark in here and we can't see what we're writing, not that it makes a difference as far as coherency is concerned.

John Pieret • 8 years ago

Wait a minute ... state cops shoot a protester dead in Oregon and that's somehow linked to police being shot like bowling pins throughout the country?

Oh, excuse me for thinking Savage's rants needed to make some sort of sense. My bad.

sugarfrosted • 8 years ago

At that moment he was shooting at Federal Agents. The FBI released the overhead footage. His use of "protestor" is meant to paint a picture of a guy with a sign, not an active shooter.

rascal barquecat • 8 years ago

Looked more like he was going for his sidearm under his coat, but that's an incredibly stupid move to make when facing down at least two already drawn and leveled firearms.

Christopher Letzelter • 8 years ago

He certainly appeared to be reaching for the gun that was discovered at his hip; witnesses also heard him (Lavoy Finicum) tell the agents to just shoot him. This is consistent with his expressed wish to die rather than be confined to a prison cell. IMO he decided to commit suicide by cop.

rascal barquecat • 8 years ago

Yeah, not arguing that. (He had also written a book which includes a scene where a heroic patriot takes out three agents in a single fast-draw gunfight. Delusions of grandeur?)

Christopher Letzelter • 8 years ago

I think delusions of grandeur characterizes nearly all of these militia types. I'd argue they represent nearly the opposite of the Second Amendment's intention for a "well-regulated militia."
