I was always a proud Heechul fan all those times he'd host Gayo Daejuns and Dream Concerts. :) He does his job so well.

6? You might be lacking one cause there's Leeteuk, Heechul, Kangin, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun.

They have radio DJs too that aren't MCs like Yesung, Sungmin, and Zhou Mi. (Leeteuk, Heechul, Kangin, Shindong, Eunhyuk and Ryeowook were/are all radio DJs too)

Yesung is great in varieties imo. He is really funny (especially when he dance his signature dance. lmao) But he always gets edited out. -_-

But individually, SJ members tend to take compliments bcs of their personal talents. I just don't get why many Koreans (who are usually the top commenters) don't like them as a group, some people can take hatred to a whole new level ;-;

Thank SM and YYJ for that. It's fair to say SM has ruined SJ's musical reputation in korea with the lackluster title songs.

I think it also has something to do with their original plan to be a rotational group with a lot of members. As for YYJ and SM I can't really say much since I do think Sorry Sorry was a success and Mamacita is a pretty good song. I didn't like Bonamana and Mr. Simple tho.

I think it's because they weren't taken seriously when debuted so that kind of image kinda stuck. But I'm sure once every member of KRY gets a solo or when they release an album, people (not haters) will get SJ appeal.

They have a very good reputation in variety shows, tho :D And for now I'm quite satisfied with that.

I would say they're very successful for a kpop group overseas tho :D But yes, 2 years before I would be super pissed off when people talked badly about them, when younger groups' fans kept underestimating them, or when some ELF left for other fandoms but now I honestly only want them to stick together as long as they can while being aware of fans who stay and still love them regardless <3

do you know what is the original reason of why they got so much hate even before their debut ? because they were a group with 13 members... isn't it ridiculous ? so yeah i'm not expecting any kind of maturity from some people.

I don't speak Korean so I don't understand the lyrics for sure but when I see the translations I don't think their lyrics only appeal to teenager.

They speak about broken heart in their ballads just like 2AM do (and 2AM fans are usually in their 20s or 30s) and their title songs' lyrics are usually positive and uplifting ^^

There are many idols who don't get as many backlashes as SJ (Shinee, Infinite, Beast etc) and even have positive image. So I don't think it has to do with them being idols or their lyrics. It's just their original image as a rotational group with a lot of members whom people don't take seriously gets stuck with them until now. And people refuse to see past that ;-;

I'd also like to add our pretty Heenim :) He can also adjust to different people. I mean the personalities and characters. Well, most SJ members are trained very well, most esp. MC-ing
