Thank you for mentioning the supertall broadcast tower proposed for NYC after 9/11. I did the renderings for the project architect at the time and I still think they look pretty cool. The proposed site was the Bayonne Military Terminal.

NDSU has a skyscraper competition studio each year, normally they travel to San Francisco for a site. Looks like they can just stay home.

Am i the only one thinking about space elevators right now?
