OMAR BANGURA from Sierra Leone has this to tell Nigerians;"I don't think you guys know what you are playing with. You can call each other names and laugh about it now but when you end up inciting hate here as I read through your posts here and a real civil war start in your country you will regret what you are doing now. Your religious and political leaders are trying to divide you between religious lines and you are helping them do that rather than standing up and say we are all nigerians never mind our tribe, region or religion. That's the only stand that will save your blessed nation. The foreign powers pushing the government to take certain decisions will abandon you when you start killing each other and reject you from running to their countries so be careful. Our 11 years war in Sierra Leone was not even based on religious or tribal difference and see what we did to our country. The worst conflicts are those based on tribal and religious differences. See Central Africa, Bosnia. My heart bleeds when I read what you guys are saying bcos I know what this will lead to. You will be the losers all of you whether Christian, Muslim, ibo, yoruba or hausa. Stand as one and save your nation together bcos you have only one Nigeria that has the potential to lead Africa."PLEASE HELP SAVE NIGERIA AND SHARE THIS TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE......

If there is war in Nigeria, the army generals, politicians/Lawmakers, the rich people,Imams, Pastors and so-called Seers will all run away to foreign countries. Only the poor masses will remain and slug it out. Women and children suffer more during the war. When the poor masses eye clears and everyone is fed-up about the war and killings, those same generals, Politicians and rich runaway people will come back for re-construction. Yeye de smell.

Sometimes war or resistance may be the only way out . A situation were some people believe that if they don't rule you they will rather kill you . If you cant fight or defend your right to freedom of whatever you belief is ,then your life is not wort living .

Religious war is a total war and very suicidal, and l pray that such will not engulf Nigeria. But there is war already. The Islamists are already at war with Nigeria and that war is only a Nigerian version of what is actually a global war called the 'Clash of Civilization'.The same war rages in France,Germany,Sweden,Norway,US,Canada,Mali,Algeria,Libya,Egypt,Israel,Jordan,Iraq, etc. This war is actually not instigated by Pastors but the war mongers are the Islamists and their allies.I want to ask on how many occasions have the other religious adherents taken the offensive against Islam,If you have any example to cite at all, they were the exeptions and very far from the rule.It is all the time Islam against everyone or Islam against itself. That is the plain truth some are in the habit of hiding.

you are right, but i'm still woundering why somepeople join islam...

The reason is ignorance, forced conversion and demonic possession. These unholy trinity are at the service of Islam.

Ojukwu and his family did not die in that war remember that Ojukwu fled with his family. You can on Youtube watch how Yakubu Gowon was very angry when Ojukwu ran away, leaving the defenceless people to suffer endlessly. None of these you called leaders today will die with you when the war come. They will leave with their families and relatives.Sabotage in the Army they claim for not securing the North east. But the same Army can secure Abuja and Aso rock, the President, friends, family, party members et.c. only the defenceless citizens will suffer casualties not Asari Dokubo,Tompolo,Boyloaf, Buhari, Jonathan,IBB,OBJ,...Think well my people..,

well spoken... maybe Nigerians need to clue their eyes on global news and see what other countries at war are facing or probably ask those that witnessed the civil war... i cringe when the poor masses dance to the tune of these political lords who will first catchup with first flight to foreign land if we eventually invoke war.. To my fellow compatriots, search inward and vote conscientiously... Nigeria is my own.. peace and unity i pray for.. one Nigeria

Good talk Justice, but the burden is not as simple as that though, we have a history of brainwashing the mass of over 50million illiterates mostly comprising northern Muslims with a doctrinal culture of islamist fundamentalist teachings since before we had our independence in 1960 by using a crude institution known as almajiri a practise they imported from sudan. The concept was meant to say Islam was better taught when children were kept isolated from their parents simpliciter; but upon research it depends on the Islamic sect managing this institution - you will find the similar sort of radicalising institutes you find in Pakistan-waziristan region where children are taught militant Islamic ideologies. Of course every effort to point this issue out early both by intelligence community and even academia as being a potential source from where acts of future religious fundamentalism are being conscripted to feul intermittent conflicts all around the north in the name of sharia was usually wickedly and concertedly mulled by Muslim hegemones of northern extraction. This challenge was allowed to persist because political authority was mostly under the control of northern Muslims since independence and they appeared to see their inimical inactions to stop this ideological cells as rather an obligation for strengthening islam. Almagiri children are told that their educational form was better than secular education from onset and so they grew to hate attributes and later people that hailed western education as they refer it. There were other issues that facilitated the lingering and later strengthened this islamist (such as corruption of course and inept governance) as they became ready made fodder for northern Muslim political and religious hegemones to expliot. But as of today, as they say - a lot of water has passed under the bridge. Northern Muslims who inspired this problem are no longer in total control, we have secondary actors playing different roles depending on interest and their foreign policies as well e.g you may not know but the Nigerian military is being thouroghly sabotaged by what I describe as another army within their ranks; on the other hand, so called human rights groups especially amnesty international and western media like BBC Hausa service. VOA Hausa service, Deutch wellar Hausa service and Aljazeera to mention a few are being set against the military's progress to ensure that obstacles to military activities in speeding up the war is confronted with bias affrontations and media speculative propaganda that promote Boko Haram and accuse military of either killing civilians, or not responding on time to insurgent warnings but keeping silence on insider saboteurs activities who abandon equipments for assaulting militants to carry and who give misleading or bungled intelligence to increase military weariness and slow the moral to defeat the enemy. This so called human rights reports and opinions of their puppeteer are taken without awaiting collaborative evidence by international powers with scores or vendetta to settle against Nigeria's stance on gay-rights - to scuttle the Nigeria government efforts to buy needed equipments for faster troop deployment and aerial surveillance facilities for aiding quick response to rebel attacks. On the one hand, politicians from this same trouble zones had not only refused from the onset but facilitated their communities to refuse exposing their children whose ranks swell the rebel armies from cooperating with the army until lately with the emergence of local vigilance groups. If its possible to take a censure of comments of people from the social media before the eve of political hype of campaigns in Nigeria, you will discover that, most northern Muslim commentaries indicate a double-minded notion on how and who or what should be done regarding their insurgency. But one clear thing is that, the northern Muslim who never mass-voted Jonathan as the president( because he is also a Core Christian) are yet to come to terms on why they should support him with an opportunity to have an all round victory on their domain? This is the clear picture Mr Justice and comments you read are indicative of concealing our reality unfortunately. Your guess is good as mine.

Even you have a part to play on this ethnic bigotry !

meefreedom • 9 years ago

Your comment just justified my allusions. Thanks for being the evidence I already substantiated above. Know ye one thing though, only the truth shall set you free.

The oneNigeria • 9 years ago

Your evidence ? Can I be an Islamist if I am a southern Christian ?
That is why PDP and their followers will always remain clueless . Nigerians Christians , Muslims and juju servers wants PDP out and no amount of ethnic politics will save those clueless pdpigs

^Nigerians are all political illitrates they dont know when foreing people plant war in their land, even when it germinates they dont know or see it.
Goodluck has the best reaction on the unity strategies, boko haram has a mission if not they could have stop it by hausa people only alone. When Ebola came from nowhere did it not die because everybody is involve. u can not play politics to hinder fast prevention. now BH remain there to show that GEJ is not doing well. That is lie.

It always a pain of heart when I hear people blaming and pointing accusing fingers at Jonathan of not able to fight Boko Haram even with the billions of naira to security sector. Boko Haram is an affiliate of international Al quada sent to Nigeria to disrupt the most populous black nation in Africa. Boko Haram as a group is very difficult to conquer due to their faceless nature and that is why even the eastern word and most of the Islamic nations find it tough to win them. For the sake of our their lifes and that of our children let's put politics aside and come together as one Nigeria to fight this criminal insurgents together. Togetherness we can build a strong nation.

Well, it has come to a situation where our kids are no longer safe either at school or home. Things have gone so bad that for years, coupled with the trillions spent on insecurity, we still couldn't combat terrorism.

Should we continue with thins till another four years?

NO MATTER HOW LONG AND FAR BOKO HARAM AND THEIR LIKES TRY, THEY SHALL FAIL BECAUSE EVIL CAN NEVER NEVER NEVER OVERCOME GOOD.

templarsnight • 9 years ago

My fellow Nigerians we have to stop playing politics with the life of citizens. BOKO HARAM has come stay not forever but unfortunately they gonna be with us for some time and strong commitments from our military and unity of our politicians the kind we saw in France,Norway,UK and the rest of civilized people when tragedy struck not name calling and blame that's the characteristic of Nigerian elites which gives the terrorist upper hand.
