                                                         A  VERY IMPORTANT DREAM

I have a dream that appears to be fading away (with my soul too) because I am surrounded by all types of glues that prevent me from starting it.

I am born to be a great scientist , I know what I am looking for , I know how to accomplish it , but I just need the start. My dream will solve the energy problem of the planet , advance space exploration to a very great extent and other applications that I don't know but must exist. I have always loved great scientists and wanted to be like them.

I don't want money , fame or anything in life. I just want to do the thing I was born to do and then die.  I NEED TO ACCOMPLISH MY DREAM NO MATTER WHAT I WILL FACE.

I live in Egypt and since it's a developing country it has no room for people like me , it has no room for innovators , no room for those who want to make an enormous impact to the world , and to say the truth , I CAN'T LIVE MY LIFE ANYMORE.

I am already 24 and haven't taken any actual steps to see it true. I have read the book of " THINK AND GROW RICH " but can't make the start because I exist in the wrong place. Einstein's life was much much easier than mine since he was in Germany and never had problems such as mine.

TO ANYONE WHO READS THIS POST , PLEASE TRY AND HELP ME IF YOU CAN. THE MATTER IS EXTREMELY SERIOUS. I AM BEGINNING  TO LOSE HOPE IN LIFE AND DON'T WANT TO DIE BEFORE I ACHIEVE MY DREAM.

I HAVE A BURNING-HELL DESIRE TO ACCOMPLISH MY DREAM , ALL I NEED IS TO LIVE IN ANY COUNTRY THAT RESPECTS PEOPLE WIT HUGE DREAMS.

I CAN'T CARRY THE BURDEN OF THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ACHIEVING MY DREAM ANYMORE AND NEED SERIOUS HELP.

I LOOK FORWARD TO BE SAVED BY SOMEONE.

OUTWARDLY EINSTEIN APPEARED CONFIDENT.

this I Hope this will help..You said you exist in the wrong place..just think that this wrong place of yours is the white paper...and your a crayon(just think what color it is,black, pink, yellow, green anything)And you start to do your passion step by step..one by one..slowly and carefully..the importance is youre happy and your making a mark on this white paper..you will be shock when the time comes that you almost cover this white paper of your crayon. And you dont know if you become successful youre country can be proud of you..you know im from the philippines and whenever some filipinos achieve one great thing it would be a great pleasure to know that she/he once lived in this country..Please achive your dream..think of the bright side.. :)) do you want to lose without fighting? no ,right?and if youre a scientist please let me know ok? :)) ahaha

It doesn't matter where you come from, what matters is where you go on from there.

national geographic gives grants.. go search national geographic grands they give funds to researcher, explorer, innovations. GO! LIVE YOUR DREAM:)

Hey, you just were born in the exact right place. Because of this, you've seen many deficiencies, you've seen hungry, poverty, corruption, so much it has carved your soul so it longs for a better place. The so-called "first world" don't need you that much, but your homeland does. It needs to be improved by people like you. Don't be fooled to think that your bright destiny is somewhere in the US or in Europe receiving a high salary as an astronomer or something similar. Although there's a lot of chances you'll go study overseas to fulfill your education, always remember where you're coming from, and who's in great need of you - your country.

It's really hard to accomplish what I've been dreaming of for years without the support of my parents, so without them I don't have money (I'm still 17 and want to be a professional dancer) I know I'm not the best but I know that I have something nobody else has and that what keeps me going. I have a fight with my parents everyday about my dream and them wanting me to use my mental abilities and be a great doctor or sth and I don't want that! I want to be happy and dance for living because this what makes me happy :( it seems far away but I know deep down that I won't give up and I'll be more than ready to struggle just to get there

Feruz-werede • 11 years ago

yee and i well never give up my dream.never......

Amazing article to wake up to in the morning.

I agree whole heatedly with this.

This article is a great way to help people wake up & also a fantastic reassurance to those already on their path.

Cheers! :)

I love #8, playing it small is how everyone else does it. The herd mentality. I strive to live the life of my dreams, and I work for it everyday

Mohamed Tohami • 12 years ago

Unfortunately, the majority of people fail to admit that they are powerful beyond measure.

Stephen Moore • 12 years ago

I particularly agree with Schroeder, Bach and Roosevelt.

I go to work each day enjoying what I do and loving my job. It's why I don't pay much attention to the "quit your job and craft your own future" blogs. I love what I do and see each 14 hour day as a step towards a more positive future.

I enjoy each day and I viciously fight every battle because I know, as Bach said, that it is not easy to achieve your dreams. I'm tempted to say a dream cannot be a dream if it can be achieved easily, but maybe some people dream of pancakes and maple syrup.

Thanks for the post.

Mohamed Tohami • 12 years ago

Good for you Stephen.

The issue with dream jobs is that, in the long term, you'll find it limiting to your potential. It may fit you now, but in the near future you may realize that you're limited by the corporate policies and can't realize your FULL potential.I just thought of highlighting this fact for you, and I wish you all the best.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! (sigh)

Finally i found something that will keep the fire in me burning.
Aiming for that dream to influence people with what I say and what I support.

I feel like a troll but I didn't make it past number 1 because the bad grammar just ruined the integrity of the entire piece. I don't always use perfect grammar, but I don't write articles with the lofty goal of setting someone on their path to greatness either.
"1. You can because it’s feels great!"
Then I checked to see if this was written by a successful person and found out that it is another person that became somewhat successful by feeding off of other people that also want to become successful.
Like I said.. I am feeling a bit like a troll... and I never made it past number one, but if there is anything I know is that it doesn't "FEELS GREAT" to be successful. I believe it hurts and you make sacrifices. I believe you have to spend countless hours alone working hard when nobody even knows you are working in order to be extraordinary. You can't just know that "It's feels great" and be successful. You have to go kick some ass.
I'd rather just hear an actual successful person talk about how they personally turned everything around.

My dream is to become a boxer and to become the youngest man to win the world heavyweight champion and i also want the world to remember my name.

I have my dream.... and I decided to make it as my Goal..
To publish my own light novel.. and adapt it into an Anime... ;)

Though I am not Japanese and though I took a different course in college..{ well a course related to business.. (-_-)..}

I felt so in love with Anime and Manga that pushed me to make my own... Why not make my own right?
Lol...
I am taking the first step right now.. I know I do not have enough money... I know that I still lack the needed skill because I am just a beginner.. but these obstacles will not stop me from taking the first step...
One day.. I will see my masterpiece in front of a TV.. and I will take pride of it! Wahhh!!! It gives me the chill of excitement... and How magical would that be.... hahaha, K. enough with my daydreaming...
I will work and work and live this Goal! Yeahhh!!!!

Rafi • 9 years ago

Actually i don't have a dream.. all i wanted to do is to master photoshop, after effect,3ds max, maya, cad, drawing manga, and creating anime.. i even didn't know that my wish above is a dream or ambition..
Can i add number 11?
If yes.. You Can Because It's your will to do it.. the greatest power on the galaxy.. is the power of will.. if you want to be something.. try to be it with your will.. and someday.. a path will open to reach your dreams
By the way i'm still 13 years old.. but i want to do all of it.. because i want to.. but i don't know the reason why would i have that dream.. mastering visual and digital art

REALLY like this topic-DREAMS!! and I agree-NEVER give up!. My name is Shameme and I am a girl from England. I sadly have a serious illness (I was born with muscle disease and, as it was neglected, caused me Scoliosis of the spine) so issues going on, I need to have corrective surgery in America this year. But no matter what life has thrown at me my dreams have always been the things that have kept me alive and kept me going. Most of my dreams are travel-related, but I have one, BIG burning dream that isn't-to meet a famous person!. This person (who is a big belieber....oaps, where did I get that word from??, believer in dreams himself) I really want to meet as he has inspired me so much. With mottos like #BELIEVE, DreamBIG and the ever famous #NEVERSAYNEVER I know if I think of these I CAN do it, yes of course, it is the one and only JUSTIN BIEBER!!. He's just amazing and has cheered me up during some really hard times in my life. As for what I've been doing to try and make my dream come true and meet him?, well I have sent over 5, 000 emails about it, made 258 phone calls and am in the process of typing up a physical letter (in purple print, of course....Justin's favourite colour)! which tells of my illness, how I came to be a fan and my dream to meet him!. I'll also add an appropiate photo of little me in it too!, (I'm thinking something like BELIEVE in the baackground or something). I also have a Facebook group 'CAMPAIGN FOR SHAMEME ADAMS TO MEET JUSTIN BIEBER'!.....get it joined folks!!!!. But I like Justin so much and will work hard to make that (and of course all my other dreams come true). Whatever your dreams work hard and #BELIEVE everyone!. Shameme x

Hi, what exactly is your dream? Maybe I can give you some suggestions or things to think about that might help.

Nug • 10 years ago

This is really inspirational, i feel like im letting myself go though. My dream is so generic in this day and age, I want it so bad though. Im 18 and i just wanna be a Rap artist, its all i need to satisfy my soul. All i do is write but im too scared to record, my voice isnt strong enough, i dont know, i feel like im fading and if i dont have this i have nothing else to strive for. Dreams are amazing and beautiful but so scary at the same time, the biggest fear is failing in something you love, its the ultimate heart break. I dont want it for fame, i dont want it for fortune, i want it to spread what i have to stay and enrich lives and just be appreciated. i dont know who to turn to or where to go, im just a young girl with hope but no faith in myself.

Jewel Burgess • 10 years ago

Hi Nug, are you still pursuing your dream of being a rapper? How's it going? Maybe I can give you a few helpful suggestions, sometimes it's easier for a person on the outside to see what we on the inside ( close to our dreams) can't.

This makes me feel a bit better but how can I achieve to become a kpo singer? I'm not Korean or Chinese I'm Vietnamese.. There are no viet kpop singers so it makes me feel like I can't achieve especially since my parents are against my dreams and goals and what I want to become when I grow up.

I have this thought: when we face numerous obstacles in our journey towards accomplishing our dreams, does it mean that we are being tested for our commitment, or is it the other way around - is it nature / life telling us to give up and find an alternative? How do we know that it is time to let go? Sometimes dreams hinder our very happiness and stop us from pursuing other things that might give us different kind of joy. Would you read my thoughts  --> http://longformwriter.wordp...

This is a wonderful, thoughtful, and brilliant post.

"They defeat themselves before they even get started"
It is true. People let worries and fears get ahead of them before actually starting.

Then, the ten reasons why you can achieve your dreams was really moving and inspirational. :)

CMOE • 11 years ago

"
Doing what you love and living your life on your own terms are the best things you can do for yourself." I couldn't agree with you more! There's nothing like doing what makes you happy. Definitely much better than having to drag yourself out of bed in the morning because you're dreading the day that's ahead of you.
