It is odd that there is no description of the shooter. Even in local media interviews of witnesses, he is only referred to as "the man". None of the newspapers or TV stations seem to ask what he was wearing, or what he looked like. When have details about a shooter's identity or motives been irrelevant to a news story?

They haven't disclosed identities of the victims either. Perhaps they are notifying next of kin. However, I suspect what you really want to know is what race the shooter was. Well, it darn well doesn't matter to his victims, and it shouldn't matter to you either.

Having worked around many journalists for about 10 years of my life I can tell you whether they were conservative or liberal it didn't really matter, the vast majority of NEWS journalists had a truth agenda, not a political one. Now if you are referring to opinion journalists or talking head commentators who are on Fox or MSNBC most of them have a political agenda. It's what they are paid to do.

Often time agendas are set by what the publisher of a paper or media outlet wants to be printed. Often times NEWS stories aren't covered because if it's bad news for the publishers agenda then the publisher will simply tell the news editors to not publish a story.

Most news journalists themselves whether they are libs or cons still try to seek the truth. It's those above them who do the agenda setting.
