This fiasco didn't just have a effect on Colorado. The Animas runs through the southern Ute Tribal lands, New Mexico to the San Juan, then across the Navajo Nation and southern Utah then into Arizona where it flows into the Colorado river at Lake Powell. If their goal was to pollute the water for hundreds of miles, the criminals at the EPA reached their goal. From the top, that butch bitch McCarthy on down to the local heads of the EPA, heads should roll. Arrest them, charge them with gross incompetence, then toss their sorry asses in prison for a long time.

EPA needs to be purged of both the environmentalist de-growth marxists and the big government budget bloater, pocket lining corrupt politicians. They're a match made in hell. If Americans knew, really knew what the environmental movement was about, de-growth marxism, they would lose their collective shit. They've been dumbed down to science and told so many lies and crazy scare stories about all these scientific or complicated supply chain issues that they hear these idiotic slogans about global warming, vaccines, dairy food, GMOs, etc and they believe every one.

So sad to see this happen out west. Beautiful country, too bad we can't keep EPA from trashing it.

Where does Russia Today stand on the issues? They seemed to like Occupy Wall Street, whcih was a liberal cause, but I know a lot of these Russians aren't Obama fans. Also, I don't think Russia Today's been supporting this gay rights nonsense.

Soop, that's not a conspiracy theory, it just a logic train. A good conspiracy would be something along the lines of FEMA directed the release of the toxins in advance of the "Jade Helm-15" military exercises in order to deprive the preppers a viable water source forcing them to adhere to the martial law scenario and ultimately having to enter the FEMA camps in order to survive. Not that I believe that scenario but if one is to go with a conspiracy theory, go big.

I love my country. I hate my government.

The EPA is a notoriously corrupt organization. It would be nice if some actual investigative reporter looked into how many times they've busted the chops of some small farmer or business (often ruining them) and turned a blind eye to actual pollution caused by large corporate entities that have done a lot of damage. And usually it's businesses that play ball with the right political groups who get the big pass.
There have been incidents before this; this is just a big one -- not like they will wind up facing any scrutiny for it.

Under Obama the federal government has become a criminal organization.

EPA has always been corrupt -- long before Obama. There have been times where it was less corrupt than others, but it's always attracted a certain type of bureaucrat.

To the Tree with the EPA head and the dozen directly below him.
