It is rarely pointed out that institutionalized racism has been abolished in the United States. If this is not true, then it means the famous 60s Civil Rights Movement was a failure. Martin Luther King and Malcolm X live in vain.
The reason the FBI took a special interest in these two black American leaders is this : they were beginning to see the CLASS basis of social and economic inequality in capitalist America.
All " identity politics " can now do is pander to race and gender. And make privileged members of diverse groups more privileged.
My favorite Malcolm X quote : " Show me a capitalist and I'll show you a blood sucker ".

Interesting : there is a Malcolm X quote inscribed in the front of University of Rhode Island Library. Missing is the NAME : Malcolm X. Yet it is not inflammatory; just speaks about his love of libraries and books .
