I am old enough to remember Buahri's first term in office as head of state in the 80s. Nigerians were well respected around the world. In response to Diko's butched kidnapping attempt, Nigerian Airways flight was grounded in the UK. Buhari responded by grounding the British Airways in Lagos. I am wondering what is happening to Buhari nowadays. He seems to be confused or too old to govern.

Ayoola Stephen • 7 years ago

In the 80's he was military head of state...he tries to follow due course democratically to bring issues into conclusion. As for the Turkish government they don't respect country, later they will be looking for favours around the world. If Turkish government don't admit those students Nigeria government should call back our ambassador abd cut all relations with Turkish government.

buhariSTINKS!!! • 7 years ago

buhari is a CONFUSED TERRORIST, he wanted to summon the Turkish Ambassador to nigeria because the Deportee is an awusa FOOLani, how many times have buhari summon other Countries when they deport BIAFRANS or Oduduwa's?

kazkaz • 7 years ago

Go through the article again bros.

chemy • 7 years ago

The Turkish Ambassador is in Nigeria. Common. He is not summoning anyone from Turkey. Oga sebi you go school now.

papred06 • 7 years ago

He stinks!! And he's also supporting a crook like Kanu!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA............................

kinsly • 7 years ago

We are no longer in a military regime bro, the Govt is following up the issue in the right way thru diplomatic channel when that method fails then you can expect the Govt of Buhari to retaliate to show our strength as a Nation.

Ugo Gbuzuo • 7 years ago

You have forgotten that Idiagbon was the one behind the whole 'gra gra'.

EarthVoice • 7 years ago

Brother Buhari is incompetent now, during 80's he have ears to listen to Idiagbon then, Buhari then have ears than now,
He pretend he knows much now than then,

Ik Hammer • 7 years ago

He is now a democratic president.

OROK OBOT • 7 years ago

All those actions was from Tunde Idiagbon, Buhari was just a ceremonial President.
The Glory Buhari enjoyed during the last election was just Tunde Idiagbon Glory.
President Buhari is not an action man,he is just a gentleman.

ndababa • 7 years ago

You just remind me of ceremonial post Igbos were , in here imagination the host position in the country then. It was later they know that it was cosmetic position. Remember?

chemy • 7 years ago

Just like Azikwe was a foolani wrapper used to hijack the first republic. You are reaping what your fore-fathers sowed.

Truthisbetter • 7 years ago

Osibanjo with PHD is now serving a waecless Foolani man.

Patriotic Ass Nigerian • 7 years ago

But Awolowo wasnt a coward like Ojuwkwu or ran away and left his people.

Truthisbetter • 7 years ago

Awolowo committed suicide with a rat poison that is not more than $1 but Ojukwu died a natural dead.

tonye • 7 years ago

Too old.! Forgive me, if you still have grandparents, use their present attitude and thinking to judge your president

delta K • 7 years ago

Yoruba coward continue to honor your foolani Hausa master

Patriotic Ass Nigerian • 7 years ago

It was Ojuwkwu who ran away while aguyi Ronsi waited, please who is the coward? You this hated ridden tribalistic fool.

Andor • 7 years ago

No, it was caword awolowo who was sentenced life imprisonment by his slave master Tafabalewa. And Great Ojukwu did released the stupid awolowo from Calabar prison, instead of thanking Ojukwu, he went and stabbed Ojukwu at his back like his cawordice kinsmen. Cawords yorobastards.

Nubian • 7 years ago

Yeah, right. After the treacherous and vindictive Nnamdi Axikiwe betrayed him by conniving with the barbaric Fulani to imprison his nemesis, Obafemi Awolowo?

Nubian • 7 years ago

Aguiyi Ironsi also was a Yibo coward who ran to Ibadan in order to be shielded by the valiant Yoruba military governor, Adekunle Fajuyi!

Dis kin country, na wa! • 7 years ago

Why are you going that far down memory and history lane? Can't you see what their "courageous" folks are doing in Anambra and Enugu to stop the invasion of their land by the "foolani" hausa herdsmen as referred to by delta K?

Nubian • 7 years ago

Lolz!!!!! Ma binu jare. Awon Omo irankiran!

Patriotic Ass Nigerian • 7 years ago

Sorry slip of finger.

Get a life "courageous" one! How far with fixing the invasion of you lands in Anambra and Enugu by the "foolani" Hausa herdsmen?

papred06 • 7 years ago

That is a foolish response.

Nubian • 7 years ago

Yibos are the most foolish animals in the universe.

Laddeck • 7 years ago

bitterness and ignorance are your problems

Manuel Tobby • 7 years ago

Who did your father Ekweme, Zik , okadigbo ,etc followed? ??????

Amnesiac

Nubian • 7 years ago

I know the answer: Fulani barbarians!

Mazi Efuna • 7 years ago

How dare you mention the names like Zik, Ekwueme and Okadigbo just because they are in the same one Nigeria with you and being toyed with by Britain right. While the likes of Zik were busy experimenting with great Africa, some other more parochial and tribal minded where busy fooling with tribal experiments like one can predict of an African level of brains.

Nubian • 7 years ago

Zik plunged the whole of eastern region into poverty with his "great Africa" bullshit! That's why millions of Yibo cannibals ran to the Yorubaland for food, sustenance and succour!

Mazi Efuna • 7 years ago

Without Igbo and to some extent the Colonial masters lagos would have remained back in time dancing owambe by men in tribal marks and outfits. Today, every single tribal man out there is found wannabe and wants to speak like a British, after all, they are all from Lagos and no one is from Ijebu these days, lol. And in these all, a nation called Nigeria is expected to survive?

Nubian • 7 years ago

Incoherent cannibal. Speak in Yibo if simple English is too difficult for you.

Mazi Efuna • 7 years ago

If the proper use of English language is a measure of knowledge, you are nowhere close to Igbo. This I know for sure, for there is no area of human success you can compare. You and I know this to be true but you may just choose to play games.

tdok • 7 years ago

where is your own master? The same Fulani your grand father and father and your generations followed for ages and will still follow in 2019. Omo alainiran to nfi ipa ji baba e loju orun. Shame on your generations.

9jaDY • 7 years ago

tdok.
You fell for his bait.
A child that wakes up his father with a kick on the mat will never respect anybody's father.
It is such a shame.
I will recommend a BVN type addresses/ID for all internet users in the future.
Some of our children are writing what will deny them any job prospect in the future.

tdok • 7 years ago

I have learnt to let go and I wont respond to such rants in future. It is not worth it. Thanks

Sir Demo • 7 years ago

This lowest of animal again?

Sylvia Idowu • 7 years ago

And you fail to understand that the action he took brought the soar relationship between Nigeria and UK. We were on free visa to UK before, but after that stupid act that made UK to introduce strictness in procurement of their Visa.

Life is Good • 7 years ago

I don't get you here. Sometimes ago, the Turkish govt demanded Nigeria should close some 17 schools here, the FG refused. Now they deported students and the FG has demanded explanations and actions. That is normally what a good govt will do before taking more drastic actions like sending the Turkish citizens in Nigeria back home. Nothing our of place here. And you can't compare a Military govt where they can meet overnight and taking drastic decisions to with a civilian one where religious, ethnic, political, bla bla bla factors are involved and citizens too have a voice.

Pawa2 • 7 years ago

Well, the government id doing the right thing so far. Or what else do you want them to do?

jide • 7 years ago

yes that is how every race in the world treat black people and when i come to punch comment section i will see Nigerians praising white people and using the word fantastically ever since a white man said it , the stupidity of black people worshipping white people is just too much.

delta K • 7 years ago

Stupidity of Yoruba coward like you brought this disgrace to Nigeria

olu • 7 years ago

Your foolishness is written all over you . I do not know which monkey jungle of Nigeria your ancestors originated from. Were it not for the Yorubas , Jonathan in a lifetime could not have stepped into Aso rock . In him we got what we asked for crowning a slave as a king.

chemy • 7 years ago

Go and ask your grandfather Azikwe the first prostitute to go to bed with the Hausas and the Fulanis. And you know what he did, he conceeded the head of government to a Fulani or Hausa. That is something a Yoruba man won't do.
