Wow we have become one heck of an average team. This team is awful. Every time someone gets the ball they dither on it and slow down the tempo even further. They always take the safe option in passing back or sideways and hardly make passes forward. (especially Henderson who is average as it gets) These players panic on the ball, you can see the anxiety when they have it and can tell they have no clue what to do with it. Tiki taka in our own half - time and time again. The defending is even worse, "oh Ronaldo you got the ball? well here you go have all of this free space to attack into and we'll just back off" Every time there's a 50/50 we lose out on it. The only player that can really come out with their head held high from that game is Coutinho. I thought he was superb, always looking to go forward and make something happen and was unlucky to have hit the post. But guess what? Rodgers takes him off ! All these problems can't be blamed on the players, it has to be the manager. He's tactically inept,always making excuses and has spent over £200 million. Fluked it last year Brendan, I'l have Rafa back over you any day.

Nobody made Sterling, he was always earmarked for a great career from when qpr developed him.
Neither Sturridge or Coutinho were scouted by Rodgers.
But if you want to hail them as successes can you give your thoughts on the rest of the £180m Rodgers has spent?

Sterling had trouble with behaving when Brendan first came in, and he has helped him mature into the player he is now.
I still believe Lallana(nominated for Prl player of the year), Emre Can, Manquillo and Moreno are and can become very strong assets to the team in terms of competing for top4!
Ricky Lambert and Lazar Markovic are for me two big questionmarks at the moment as they both haven't had enough time to show what they can bring to the team.
Balo has huge talent, but has no confidence at the moment which is inconvenient for a player with his personality, but it's to early to conclude that he can't find success in Liverpool.
Lovren has to fix his positioning if he wants to have a future at Anfield.

- Most of you mention how you have lost your best player from last year (Suarez) - Yet other teams lose their best players (3 in the case of Southampton) and still manage to maintain the same level of performances, if not better.
- Cant believe that Brendon thought that a good way to improve LFC was to buy 3 players from a team that finished 8th last season.
- Concentrating on Balotelli swapping shirts at half time is just papering over the cracks, and ignoring whats really wrong at LFC.

The almost success of last season was a curse. It masked the real ineptitude of where we really are these days and its not good enough. We cannot depend so much on one or two płayers.

2. Carra stated that Pepe asked Ballo to swop shirts. Just on this, we need to castrate Ballo for his performance on the pitch and not whilst leaving the pitch. Lets stop picking at the tiny things that mean nothing and focus on what counts.
