Here are some highlights from and observations on her speech the other day to the Values Voter Summit.

THE VALUES VOTER SUMMIT SPEECH (emphases are mine throughout)

Early on in her oration she says,"This is the most joyful room in Washington." This remark is a great contrast with, subtle and implicit, and condemnation of all the Rooms of Power in DC: They may have TEMPORARY power; we have LASTING joy!

"Rejoice; in two years it's going to be the end of an error, the obama error." This is a splendid play on words, one that she has employed before, re the bleak hussein obama ERA/ERROR!

"We did not need this fundamental transformation of America; we need the fundamental RESTORATION of all that is good and strong and free, that made America so great."

"It's time to end the politics of division, the Left's politics of demographics and identity groups and their tactics of distraction."

SARAH has a message and agenda that can UNITE Republicans, Dems of
good will, Libertarians, Conservatives, even some traditional "liberals," and people of no political persuasion at all. The Left and RINOs know this, and they are terrified of her CHARISMA and power!

She censures the "Alinsky-loving" and "Orwellian" Left.

She recalls how the Left used to rail against "The Man" (memories of the 60s) –well THEY are NOW "The Man"!

She condemns obama's "strategery" that was thought up on the back nine (i.e., golf)--as ALWAYS with OUR SARAH, from the beginning, from the "Lipstick" speech at the RNC in September, 2008, she pricks the inflated balloon of the MYTH of hussein obama like no one else!!

With marvelous rhetorical power , she "salutes" obama with a Styrofoam cup!--

Guys, this is a simply BRILLIANT recalling of at least two moments: Her "Styrofoam Greek columns" smack down of obama at her VP acceptance speech, AND her LADY LIBERTY moment when, holding aloft a BIG GULP drink, she looked like OUR Statue of Liberty.

This LADY and STATESWOMAN has the power of oratorical memory and
reminiscence—SHARED with her audience, the American People—she
connects with AMERICA on all levels!

She then mocks the Leftist press—she learned the other day that she is (supposedly) in the midst of another divorce from Todd--"WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?" she asks re the absurdities of the Leftist Propaganda Machine—and she simultaneously and subtly executes a hit on HILLARY too!

"They scream 'racism' our way, just to end the debate. Well, DON'T RETREAT, she says; you RELOAD WITH TRUTH!"

She censures obama for saying that the Islamic state/ISIS isn't Islamic. Only SARAH can mock obama so effectively. She has done it from the start (September, 2008)--one of the reasons she has incurred the unforgiving and unmitigated hatred of the Left!!

She condemns the IRS for TARGETING Pro-Life people----

WELL, WE CAN TARGET THE IRS, SHE RESPONDS; ABOLISH IT!!

HELL YES!!

She lauds and praises and extols COURAGE, and cites the witness and example of the Sudanese Christian woman who refused to renounce her Faith!

My note: SARAH HERSELF has been a marvelous example of courage ever since 2008!

She censures "screwed up, Orwellian leadership." She advocates PEACE THROUGH RED, WHITE, AND BLUE STRENGTH.

She condemns obama for referring to BABIES AS PUNISHMENT!!!!!

HELL YES—I LOVE THIS LADY—DEFENDER OF THE WEAK AND OF THE
HELPLESS AND OF THE DEFENSELESS. In your face, barack hussein obama!!

"Go not as Prophets of Doom in Fear, but as Messengers of Vibrant Life and Real Hope."

Finally, she recalls the BAND OF BROTHERS of the original Boston Tea Party.

My remark—Today, of course, it is a Band of Brothers and Sisters, brothers and sisters who will NEVER SURRENDER to America's enemies, whether foreign (ISIS, et al.) or domestic (obama and his RINO fellow travelers).

Thanks so much for sharing this link. I love the last sentence of the article: "Perhaps Palin is not so much driven by stratagem but rather by conviction in both cases." This is so true! She is a lady of convictions and that is precisely why many people do not understand her.

Essentially favorable/unfavorable/don't know are measures of a potential base. It appears that Palin has the broadest and deepest levels of approval. It's like you are a business and how many potential customers do you have? No other conservative has as huge a base as Palin. Interesting poll from PPP in Mar 2012. Gingrich and Santorum split the social conservative and fiscal conservative voter badly. That allowed Romney to win several states.

Gingrich supporters 85%
Santorum supporters 80%
Romney supporters 53%
Paul supporters 46%

I don't believe that many people understand how hard it is to move the don't know numbers. Jeb Bush gets it from being a Bush. Chris Christie gets it from huge media attention. Palin gets it from being the VP candidate in 2012.

Look at Iowa in 2012. Rick Perry and Rick Santorum spent months in Iowa. Santorum won Iowa. That should do wonders for you and drive your don't knows down. In a May 2014 PPP poll, Santorum still has a don't know of 26% and Rick Perry of 31%. Contrast that to Palin's 14% and Huckabee's 12%. Santorum and Perry are still largely unknown in Iowa.

I do trust my political instincts. After Palin said no, I knew Romney had the nomination. 2012 went pretty much as expected except Romney was even weaker than I thought. As close as a two bit politician like Rick Santorum came at pushing Romney off the cliff, I had no doubt that Palin would have run over Romney and clinched the nomination on Super Tuesday.

Palin's decision had nothing to do with any political calculation. She decided she didn't want to run. Running for President is not easy on a individual and a family. She chose not to do it. It was clear when she talked about being chained with Greta, she did not want to do it.

If she doesn't want to do it in 2016 then the nominee is either Jeb Bush or Mitt Romney. It's not a criticism of Palin but a political reality.

Except for the second to last paragraph, I don't think most people would have trouble agreeing with you.

I find it more than a little strange that a woman(Hillary Clinton) who has pushed a Global abortion agenda as hard as Hillary has....will now see the joy of being a grandmother which she has taken from so many other families through her and husbands brutal politics when it comes to the unborn...

Your comment makes no sense to me. Clinton was elected in 1992 long after the 1973 R v W ruling. Hillary is responsible for lives lost in Benghazi. She is not in any way responsible for the decisions of women who chose to have an abortion. SHE has NOT taken away the ability of any woman to be a grandmother. It looks like abortion is legal every where except most of S. America, Africa and Muslin countries and maybe in these areas women die from illegal abortions.

When some one makes a silly comment like asserting that Hillary has caused some women not to become grandmothers, I say that is nonsense. Don't see how that defends abortion. I have done NOTHING to advocate anyone have an abortion. However, I do think an abortion in the first trimester is preferable to unwanted, neglected, abused children like the recent report of 4 children removed from a home where remains of 3 dead children were found.

Abortion have been going on for thousands of years and people whining about it does nothing. Suggest you look up the recent story "First male contraceptive injection would be available in three years". If there was some way to require males to have this injection unless they want to father AND SUPPORT a child, there would be a massive reduction in abortions. That would be something for a pro-life zealot to support.
