And there are these two reports done by respected international institutions that accuse elements of the KDF of colluding with the Al Shabab in the illegal charcoal business that enables them to finance attacks in places like Kenya. Jubilee should remove the rather large log from its eyes before pointing at the microscopic speck in others'.

The military chiefs and police chiefs are not appointed on merit, they 'home boys'. As long as they protect the other thieves in government, all is well.

Someone said this government fears Raila more than the terrorists. That is why they are pointing guns at him rather than the terrorists. Let them fix insecurity by acting not talking too much.

A government of kusema na kusema na kusema...48 hours dead or alive or you will be fired ..i'm yet to know...i heard some people got transfered and even promoted.

Hi, your man is trying to equate himself to the level of president but check the reply of bonga point from kina duale, thats how low he is. begging, demanding to be arrested. Hiyo siasa ya kitambo has been overtaken by events.

Kimendero wa Mutembei • 9 years ago

Yes sir he is feared, but he is struggling to make it to the presidency

Taabu • 9 years ago

Rao maybe right given the runaway insecurity and the incompetence shown by Uhuruto ridding tribal wave for protection.

But speaking of neighbouring countries why are there no blasts in Ethiopia? Answer: Kenya's underbelly=CORRUPTION which allows Al Shabaab to devolve and outsource terror locally. Remember Idris Kamau leading Mpeketoni massacre againsts his own people?

justus Kiprotich • 9 years ago

Well done Raila for providing the answers to Jubilee who are drank with responsibility of managing Kenya.

zem2012(Mr.Amwoma) • 9 years ago

Why this governent is looking for excuses instead of solutions to insecurity is a puzzle to some of us. National challenges such as insecuity cannot be turned into politics by a government elected by 6 million Kenyans. Those are not issues to tackle through blaming, but through active invovement to protect Kenyans who die almsost on a montlhly basis.

Kimendero wa Mutembei • 9 years ago

Please update yourself, some action have been taken in Lamu, and the local are now crying foul. They asked for action to be taken and when it was they opposed it, hard to understand people even Moses was unable.

zem2012(Mr.Amwoma) • 9 years ago

Why will people cry foul when provided with security? As Kenyans, we are crying foul for insecurity. You did not say why people opposed actions taken on insecurity. You are not being sincere.

whichever way, all options, the government has a responsibility over its people. they need not be in politics of words. kenyan government is in trouble because they have let everyone talk, soo much pr so sad. we are headed towards bad times and no one sees this. the nation is not united and the so called youthful leaders have a worse mentality than the old guards. they are ready to burn the nation with inept advicers myopic strategy to cover their international challenges. the technique is to blame the rival on any bad thing through everyone

Hell, No!!!! • 9 years ago

Baba, give it to these young men. Go for the top guy, not his side-kicks.

OMBICHA • 9 years ago

Bonga points indeed. If there is evidence , arrests should be effected without regard to so called positions. Lives of people are sacred even an individual. Unless you are politicizing insecurity which when realized will not only earn Bonga points but also bonus points or you don't have faith in the judiciary and you want the rest of Kenyans to.

The Government has no business telling us poor folks who is behind the blood, tears soaking our land. The duty of any Government the world over is to ensure blood and tears of it's citizenry does not soak their land. With tremendous respect to Jubilee Government what does the Government want us to do? By telling us that so and so are behind the happenings what really does the Government want us to do? What is the problem?

Siphora • 9 years ago

Days are gone when allegedly a president would order an arrest. The state of art in Kenya is - you break the law, you get arrested and charged accordingly. If EX PM breaks the law, he will surely be arrested courtesy of the law, regardless of the consequences - jokes aside, seriously.

AlexM • 9 years ago

‘Of course the former PM understands well that the President does not arrest
suspects’ That is a good response to a careless response by RAO in response by
careless statements by govt and Mombasa county commissioner.

Hell, No!!!! • 9 years ago

Uhuru is the govt. If you don't understand that, too bad. Let the govt arrest him

AlexM • 9 years ago

Uhuru is the president of Kenya, RAO is the leader of ODM, both of them should stop politicising security....there is a machinery for investigation and if there is evidence, prosecution, and judiciary (the other arm of the govt), should decide on the matter...the matter cannot be decided at funerals, public rallies or at press conferences...Security is a serious matter to be used in power games

fredrickomondi • 9 years ago

so what?if he goes over board Raila must tell him.Kenyans are dying everyday in the hands of the so called terrorists and the only things we can hear is that we shall have no stones left unturned.if Raila is the one killing people in the coast let him be arrested now or never.we are tired of empty threats.

Xuande • 9 years ago

The government has no evidence against the opposition leader.. just playing cheap politics. If they had anything, heads would have rolled by now. Its time people realised their government is lying to them and they are just parameters to be managed

But who mentioned his name yet?
