There has been a lot of playing to the gallery, showmanship and nautanki by Modi in the last 6 months. Not much performance on real issues facing the country. He seems to be another version of Indira Gandhi and her meaningless slogans. Disagreeing with Modi or skewering him on his politics or policies or deeds is fine. No, the statement is not made by any illiterate slum dweller or mor@n Babaji but our mighty 'hindu' PM. India is becoming a global joke. Naturally, most Indian news media (scared of Modi and Shah cartel or owned by Modi bhakt businessmen like Ambanis- e.g CNN-IBN) avoided that news, for reasons we all know.

Such statements, that too by responsible authorities like PM or head of a scientific organization, diminishes even the credible achievements in objective research in ancient India.
