Something is rotten in the heart of the Labour Party – but what?

How absolutely right you are.
Its also lurking in the heart of the Tories and Lib Dems.
Really lurking in the heart of our present unmandated disastrous coalition.
Its called treason and greed.
Its called PC.
Its called mass immigration.
Its called the destruction of national sovereignty, independence, liberty and true democracy.
Its called the violation of international law.
Its called corruption.
650at the heart of government and Westminster.
Is there one not guilty or one worth re electing?.
UKIP 2015.

Labour might have learnt the ultimate lesson in getting re-elected. They learnt it from Barry O. It's quite simple. Just GIVE PEOPLE STUFF. Barry gave away food stamps, mobiles, and citizenships. Bingo!

I have heard George Bernard Shaw quoted as having said, "Whoever promises to rob Peter to pay Paul can usually count on the support of Paul!".

I presume GBS approved of theft as long as it suited his party political purposes.

For which the answer MUST be for any future right wing government to restrict the vote to citizens who contribute more than they take.

My post, which was the most recommended, ahead of EmilyEnso, before being deleted, I have reposted on my own blog, along with the exchange I had with Reco2, which was also deleted: http://my.telegraph.co.uk/p...

EmilyEnso • 9 years ago

Roger I am sorry about that.
I have had four deletions in just the last few days all very popular..
Two on islamic issues and two on the Elton John thread.
Censorship is the last bastion of the elite and its not looking a pleasant picture.

Roger Hicks • 9 years ago

Thanks, Emily. Shared suffering is easier to bear.

To be fair on the Telegraph, its moderators are a lot more tolerant of non-PC views than the "liberal" media.

EmilyEnso • 9 years ago

Roger its the sheer frustration and injustice you feel that gets to you.
i still can't understand the deletion of any one of those four.
All were a surprise as I had thought them well on the side of acceptable.
When you are playing footsy with the red pencil - and we all do that I guess - a deletion is fair game and its just one up for them. Fair go.
As for popularity I must say I am always grateful if one person gives me a tick.
Its trying to get a message across at the end of the day and every person who takes the trouble to read what I write is a very big plus to me and worth the effort.
And yes, I too do appreciate the DT giving us the chance to comment.
I just wish we were allowed to comment on more stories - that are of greater importance and of the actual news not just seemingly increasingly the blogs.

Labour may have made a few serious mistakes i.e allowing mass immigration, borrowing too much for a good part of their reign years in a time of boom and not building enough houses to name the main ones. However, they reigned over the longest period of growth in British history. We shouldn't take that away from them. My own home town, admittedly in the South East, has been totally transformed for the better because of this sustained growth and now has a far higher standard and quality of life.

The Conservatives will win next year but you can guarantee the next big debt fuelled slump that they have created is going to happen while they are in power.

The Labour Party is bursting at the seams with self-serving champagne socialists and bollinger bolshevics - here we have a party that is supposedly representative of the down-trodden working classes and yet it is stuffed with multi-millionaire property developers, heirs to multi-million pound companies, extremely wealthy estate owners, hereditary relatives of Earls - something like 50 per cent of the Labour party’s candidates selected in marginal or inherited seats for 2015 have extremely privileged and wealthy backgrounds with no real life experience and have only ever worked in politics or for think tanks. This is in comparison to 20 per cent of Conservative candidates who were political insiders.

In the Labour Party there are some spectacularly rich MPs and spin doctors. Ed Miliband owns a house that is valued at around £3 million, in a leafy corner of north London with nice schools, low crime rate and not too many poor immigrants. No one knows exactly how much Tony Blair is worth thanks to his complex web of foundations and trusts. Margaret Hodge is worth millions - possibly the the richest woman in Parliament. Margaret Hodge and Blair were neighbours in homes worth millions. Harriet Harman is a niece to the Earl of Longford and has an estate in Suffolk. Michael Meacher has a property portfolio that could solve the housing crisis. Hilary Benn has a £2 million pad in Chiswick. Liam Byrne worked for Rothschilds. Andy Burnham - a millionaire whose wife tweets about hosting drinks on their boat in the Cannes harbour. Ed Balls and Yvette Cooper - millionaires entirely out of the public purse. The Kinnock family have squeezed millions out of the European Union and have six figure pensions.

Yes - I would say there is something rotten at the heart of the labour party - but that would be putting it mildly.

Everything is rotten at the heart of the Labour party, including the fact that it is full of people who are foreign and anti-indigenous Brit. Same goes for Lib, Dems and Tories. Only a RADICAL CHANGE in the voting habits of the real British people will change matters. We are currently governed by traitors hell bent on destroying OUR PEOPLE.

Something is rotten in the Labour party ? Just where do we start ? Nanny State control, the EU, Immigration and so on, but lets be clear about this, the Conservatives are just as Rotten, they will not take back control over this Country in the name of the British and go along with ever increasing control to the EU monster whilst pretending to be doing something about it, they promote Muslim and other Ethnic groups in this country and do not have the guts to bring an end to the situation. They can start with a ban on the Burka and other full face coverings, they can start by saying NO to these ethnic groups.

Reconstruct • 9 years ago

It is hard to exaggerate just how bad this error was. First, and most seriously, it confirms that Mr Milliband has no real knowledge of, or indeed interest in, the economy of Britain. (Those of us who care about these things have been talking about the Northern jobs boom for literally years now. There has even been talk of a 'Yorkshire Tiger' emerging). Second, it suggests he really has no knowledge of, or interest in, life outside the M25. Third, and most alarming, it suggests that his thinking - if any - about the economy is based on juggling ideas about a fantasy economy which exists only in his head. Fourth - and this is staggering - even now he and Labour contrive to deny the devastating error by simply willfully ignoring the data - amazing and repulsive this is. Fifth, and by far the least important, it suggests his office is staffed with incurious idiots and dolts.

On top of all this, the North is said to be Labour's stronghold - the place they know about and care about!

And this is the man, and this is the party, which offers itself as an alternative government.

Honestly, never in my memory have I seen such casual flippant ignorance from our would-be political leaders. Obviously I fervently hope that the Labour party doesn't get near power anytime soon, but even so, the country needs an Opposition which does more than simply indulge its own baseless fantasies about the country they seek to govern. Miliband should be sacking this morning, sacking hard and very publicly.

Race replacement is not just part of another list, not even one which includes selling OUR gold at rock bottom prices. It was intended to import labour voters and ensure the future of labour governments as far as the eye could see. The word "racist" was introduced as the worst epithet that could be applied to anyone and a new form of the ten commandments was introduced from Marxist anti-Christian sources to which our hitherto free people were expected to brainlessly subscribe (well anyway they were given never ending football and the morality was taught by means of "soaps") Schools were changed with emphasis on different subjects, and the most "difficult" ones were replaced. Race replacement has taken away our security and our confidence Labour wanted to see us too weak to fight - the very race that confronted Hitler over Poland and slept in the tube.

Roger Hicks • 9 years ago
Something is rotten in the heart of the Labour Party – but what?

An ideology of white racial self-denial and self-contempt, which denies, demonises and suppresses as "racist" the natural ethnic foundations of national identity and genuine nationhood.

It's not just Labour, of course, but being an extreme leftwing ideology, Labour has embraced it with more fervour and passion, certainly than the Conservatives. Not coincidentally, it is the exact but equally extreme and insane opposite of Nazi racial ideology, which initially it was an understandable overreaction to (as well as to the injustice and inhumanity of Jim Crow and Apartheid). An overreaction which, in the aftermath of the Holocaust, was quickly consolidated into the ideology of post-racial multiculturalism, and now serves all western democracies as a secular replacement for medieval church ideology and an instrument of political and social intimidation and control.

Original Sin (man's disobedience of divine, i.e. priestly/state authority) has been replaced by "Racism", i.e. racial prejudice (the natural human inclination to identity with members of one's own tribe, e.g. race or ethnic group), which only submission to priestly/academic/political/state ideology and authority can save us from eternal damnation for, not as heathens and heretics, as in the past, but as "bigots" and "racists".

In lands of "ideological colour-blindness", which all western states now are, the colour-blind (or those who feign it) are Kings, i.e. have access to all positions of power and influence (in politics, the civil service, the judiciary, the media and, of course, academia, through whose hands all members of our elites, along with the teachers who teach our children, pass at university), while those who refuse to comply with state ideology are denied access and made social pariahs of.

Reco2 • 9 years ago

"Equally extreme and insane opposite of Nazi racial ideology"

What is wrong with that? Nazi racial ideology leads to genocide.

Roger Hicks • 9 years ago

"Equally EXTREME and INSANE opposite of Nazi racial ideology", I said, which is NOT good.

To dismiss race as a "social construct" only of importance to evil "racists" is just as insane as Nazi ideas of a Germanic master race.

Race is REAL, and important. Not in the way that racial supremacists believe it is, but because central to any deep and meaningful sense of both personal and group, i.e. genuine national, identity.

It is not race that is a social construct (expect when you try dividing closely related peoples of the same subcontinent into different races, as the Nazis insanely did), but the state itself, which is also a "power-political construct", deceitfully posing as our nation, in order to legitimise itself, its political elite and the immense power they wield.

Which explains why the the state (with the support of its privileged clients/employees in academia) is so determined to deny, demonise and suppress the importance of race.

"The heart of the Labour Party", are you having a giraffe Stevie boy, there is no heart, it's much more of a corporate "entity" still trading off some great stuff that real people did in the past.

The whole thing has no value apart from those who wish to vote against anyone doing better in life.

Labour will win because Cameron doesn't want or is unable to control immigration, it (immigration) is now way ahead of the economy as the most important issue for voters. He has done nothing about illegal immigrants here, failed to stop 50,000 bogus "students" every year and let legal immigration spiral out of control to 5 x the last Conservative government's net figure.

Labour will be remembered in 2015 for its 1997 to 2010 catastrophe, anti british, anti democratic and anti nation state in the extreme it abused its position in power to suit itself , its cronies and its ideological zealots.
Labour 1997 to 2010
- Iraq and Afghanistan
- Gave away our EU rebate and agreed the Lisbon Treaty.
- Sucked up to the bankers creating horrendous consequences for britain in the global recession taking a generation to fix
- Gave away sovereignty through Lisbon and the Human Rights Act
- Abused state finances with 0.7% overseas aid pledge
- Abolished Primary Purpose Rule and allowed immediate A8 accession allowing 7
million immigrants into Britain 1997 to 2010 in a deliberate attempt to build its voting base.
- Sucked up to crony public sector Unions by inflating pay and pensions of an unreformed public sector
- raided £5 billion a year from private pensions, sold our gold at rock bottom prices and told the market what it was going to do.
- Did nothing to invest in our infrastructure
- Imposed postal voting extension open to political corruption.
- Spent so much money on Labour cronies that it had a 5% structural deficit at the height of the boom.
- Impoverished millions with the Climate Change Act of alternative energy zealotry.
- Created the conditions in which thousands died unnecessarily in the NHS
- Created the catastrophe of multicultural extremism.
- Allowed failed asylum seekers and illegal immigrants to stay in Britain.
- Sent our military to wars under equipped
- Failed to secure our borders.
- Sold off our gold at rock bottom prices
- Created hundreds of quangoes to carry out Labour ideology and stuffed them with socialist placemen.
- Created welfare as a lifestyle, with the totally dysfunctional tax credit system, and the catastrophe of excessive housing benefit
- halved manufacturing share of the economy from 22% to 11% , preferring to rake in taxes from the City.
- They lumbered the NHS with vast PFI repayments . £50 Billion worth of loans which are costing £300 Billion in repayments
I am sure there is much more incompetence, self interest and cronyism but what
sort of people actually vote Labour based on that record.

richardl_ • 9 years ago

Unfortunately, this seems to indicate yet another bout of negative campaigning. That of course will leave a lot of people saying. Yeah, yeah, but you can't trust those wicked Tories and their banker buddies. I'm voting labour like everyone else in my family . Inuit!

There are many things 'wrong'! But Labour do not have a monopoly on things wrong. That is why many say 'don't vote'! They say all parties are the same and I would agree with them, there needs to be a major change in politics, the politicians have forgotten that 'they' work for 'us' not for their own benefit! How's Brittan doing explaining where the peadophile documents are, I bet no one can remember where they went, lol! Not many news tags on the story either. I predict it will disappear!(like the documents)
