Obama and the United States owe Cheney a huge apology.

Cheney. I'm sorry. We were wrong. We should have never allowed you to become VP so you could push this country into the worst and most criminal war in American history. We should have called you out on your delusions that this war was going to be a quick little walk in the park.

Because we allowed you and your fall guy to be in the WH...We actually ensured that the terrorist organizations would get in and create the problems they are creating now. When you said that they had WMD's...We should have laughed you out of the WH. When you said that Iraq had something to do with 9/11 and was trying to build nukes, we should have called you out on your Bullshyt.

I'm sorry Cheney. We should have seen you for the evil, sadistic, greedy, lying, backstabbing, unAmerican, bitter, hateful and pompous piece of dried up, run over and fly ridden shyt that you truly are.

I'm sorry you will burn in hell. Actually. No I'm not. Not even a little.

kduke • 9 years ago

I like it all except the part about "we allowed you and dubya the WH." They stole that election, thanks to massive fraud--real voter fraud, not the pretend kind--and a willing accomplice in the SCTUSA.
Hmm. I tend to regard Citizen's United as their worst decision but I forget the bait and switch scam in 2000.
So we didn't "let them"...unless you think the armed rebellion should have begun right there. In retrospect, maybe. But we had no concept (at least I didn't) of how directly evil these people could be.

ModerateMan • 9 years ago

Agreed. Everyone knows the politicians lie and cheat. No one is immune to that. But the level reached by those two was unprecedented.

I would think us Americans would be smart enough to never let that happen again. But the current state of things with the R's tells me they found an opening in our political system they can exploit. And they have enough people duped into thinking they are looking out for their well being. Using the normal tactics. Fear, hate and division.

The D's have it too. However. They remember that, as long as the people are happy and feeling successful, people don't pay attention to the scheming.

Or maybe this is theater on both sides designed to pit us against each other as I see on this with the trolls. Divide and conquer. As long as we are too busy arguing with each other and in dog eat dog mentality. Scraping for the same piece of food. They can do whatever they want.

Whatever it is. It's not looking good for us. I've never been as concerned for us as a American citizens as I have been in the last 11 years.

Very well said, MM. I'm not sure what guide will get us out of this hopeless mess, but I'm pretty sure it won't be a dem and I'm very certain it won't be a 'pug. I cringe to think Hillary will probably be the next potus. I see a lot of Romney in her. Like Romney, I think she will say whatever it takes to win, regardless of the truth.

Sounds a lot like Obama's two campaign runs. It worked well for him.

Guest • 9 years ago

Just think, if Gore could have carried his own home state, he would have been elected president. Guess he didn't do his homework or had a really bad campaign manager. I wonder if Al would have chosen Hillary to be Secretary of State.

Cheney came here from hell and the devil will never accept him back,
Satan threw him out because he was corrupting hell and will not allow him to try it again.
Cheney was and remains Satans' gift to America.
And Mr. VP Cheney, just SHUT UP!!!!!

SenorAzul • 9 years ago

I hope he brings GeeDubya along with him. They can have a Reunion with RW Reagan and RM Nixon

Jim Myers • 9 years ago

This is the best apology I have ever read.

Dem02020 • 9 years ago

He didn't simply put American lives "in danger" under false pretenses, he sacrificed American lives under false pretenses.

Four thousand four hundred and eighty-six US lives through 2012.

http://icasualties.org/

I'd have thought that number was too high, about 4,486 lives too high, but according to Cheney it isn't high enough.

WSJ Editorial Board=Rupert Murdoch Stroke Mag

As for you, Richard Cheney, you should be rotting in prison. Absent that, you should spend the rest of your life on your knees thanking whatever deity you worship that you are still alive, and a free man, after so many were slaughtered for your lies.

A curse upon the House of Cheney.

And just when I thought Liberals were caring, compassionate people…..oh well. This will cheer you up, The View started a new season this week.

Awww. Poor little Concern Troll is SO VERY CONCERNED about how Dick(less) Cheney gets treated. Boo-fucking-hoo.

He's a murdering thieving war criminal, and deserves a lifetime at hard labor, followed by an eternity in Hell.

Darksnark • 9 years ago

Even if they're never held accountable in any court, draft-dodging warmonger Richard Cheney and all of his money-grubbing Energy Industry cronies will be condemned by history for the destruction and suffering they unleashed: http://www.cnn.com/2013/03/...

And any right-wing attempts to put a spit-shine on the turd that is Cheney's legacy will fail when confronted by facts and truth.

Let his descendants and few remaining supporters deal with that....

Hirightnow ☑ • 9 years ago

You know, there are still people lauding Jefferson Davis, 150 years after the fact, don't you?
Never discount the human stupidity factor, DS.

Darksnark • 9 years ago

There are probably still people who think Tomas de Torquemada was a pious man of faith just trying to bring Jews and Muslims to God, but history will never be so kind....

Thanks to human mortality, those crazies are dropping like flies, and their numbers aren't being replenished.

One more generation or less, and progressive-minded folks will own this country....

Then the wealthy will be doing the same as they do now. Take over the party and buy it out. Remain Vigilant and tell your friends and family what happened and how to recognize it when they see a Woman wrapped in a flag carrying a Bible with a Cross to bear.

ComradeAnon • 9 years ago

Once they start to feel..? You've obviously been in a coma for a while. There is this cable channel called fox. And we now have an African American President and the crazies and trolls really started on their racist rants. And.. And.. And..

First mistake. They "started to feel" threatened once the 2008 election was reduced to two candidates afte after the vote count they've been in paranoid circle jerk mode ever sense.

You dumbasses better be careful. You're not the only gun nuts out there, and we shoot better than every one of you.

Conservatives are going to be PREY when they decide to pick this fight.

Just like last time.

Guest • 9 years ago

You mean Liberals also have gun nuts? My bad, I forgot Chicago.

Guest • 9 years ago

Look to South Africa in the early 1990s, Eugene Terre-Blanche and the AWB. There is a very real chance that something like the "Battle of Ventersdorp" could happen in some parts of the country here. It would be terrible--and avoidable--but not out of the question.

NotSure5 • 9 years ago

Nationalism is already alive and well, or do you not pay attention to Fox News and the Republican Party?

I have a strong feeling our "guest" pays attention to Fox very well... just a feeling, mind you...

and Dick Cheney is sought by the international court to answer to war crime charges

They also have polling that is used with NBC News so another words NBC/MSNBC does polling with WSJ/Fox News during elections and other issues go figure.
That is really odd to say the least.

WHAT? • 9 years ago

Don't forget that "liberal" NBC is owned by Comcast, and has CNBC, home of the Tea Party, in its corporate family.

chazmanr • 9 years ago

Even when they were owned by GE, Jack Welsh is not exactly a liberal. He crushed the unions and off-shored thousands of jobs.

BarbaraJean • 9 years ago

The Bush crew is more responsible for the damage done than any other administration. Get used to it, Fox, WSJ, and all who widh to change the facts.

Edited.
