If only the west would learn from Putin how to fight Islam the world wouldn't be in such a mess as it is today may Yahweh help us

Steve Smith • 10 years ago

good news Chechen terrorist Doku Umarov and his gang were killed the other day hundreds were arrested for helping them.... In Russia the relatives of terrorists are put in jail as well. We let them move here.

yahshua love's you • 10 years ago

Yep that's right and its terrible damn terrorists scums

DJ • 10 years ago

Russia fights religion in general. You're kidding yourself if you think Russia is a pro Christian nation. Why do you suppose ROCOR exists? It only joined the Russian Orthodox church in Russia a few years ago and was not popular with Russian expats at all. Christianity in Russia is NOTHING MORE than politics. The church is nothing but a puppet for the Russian regime.

Plus Russia has pretty good relations with MANY Muslim nations- Syria, Jordan, Iran, the PLO and many others.

Wayne • 10 years ago

Yes, DJ, but the Shoebat's have their blinders on regarding this. Not only are they deceived, but they are deceiving others into believing Russia is some sort of savior nation that will eventually even defeat the Antichrist. Complete nonsense!

DJ • 10 years ago

Yes indeed. Confusing attacks on Islam from Russian politicians does not equate to being a religious(Christian) society. The Russian Orthodox church is completely government controlled and serves as little more than a mouthpiece for the government. I remember attending a conference on the unification of ROCOR and the Russian Orthodox Church. I grew up with Russian Orthodox- they definitely do NOT feel fondly of the Russian government or feel Russia is a religious society. In fact, even today, the majority of Russians are ATHEISTS. Most who call themselves "Orthodox" only do so because they come from Orthodox families. But they aren't religious at all. Its a badge they wear, nothing more.

Wayne • 10 years ago

Right. Here is the deal with Putin, if Islam gets in his way, he'll fight them, if Christians get in his way, he'll fight them...if Israel gets in his way, he'll fight them too. Putin cares about Putin, not anyone else. Anyone who cant see this is delusional.

you need to get out more and stop being a key board warrior

I had a look at your profile.....you have 670 comments to my 132! You need to check yourself and remove that beam from your own eye. ;)

Exactly you fool-"my religion is better than yours" you are like a child, this proves my point now scurry off back into the cave you crawled out from! And remove than dildo from your arse

Wayne • 10 years ago

I don't have a religion, I have a relationship with the creator of the universe, Jesus Christ. You can too.

AnthonyM • 10 years ago

That is some very ugly trash talk. Is it a reflection of the level of your interior spiritual life?

Steve Smith • 10 years ago

You know nothing about us.....''You never know a man until you've eaten a whole sack of salt together.''....Russian proverb

Julie LaBrecque • 10 years ago

I'd hedge my bet on that. Russia sure helped defeat the Axis powers! And who knows, with America in decline, Russia is probably now the most feared (most terrible in bible-speak) nation, on earth. I believe this fits in with the prophecy in Daniel. No way is Russia going to side with Islam. Where else could the "news from the North" that troubles the Antichrist come from?

Guest • 10 years ago
Wayne • 10 years ago

See my above comment....

Wayne • 10 years ago

Right, you only see two kings in that whole scenario. I see three. The king of the north, the king of the south, and the Antichrist. That's the difference.

Julie LaBrecque • 10 years ago

The King of the North is the antichrist. The way that exchange is written is so bizarre and hard to follow. The reason I believe that is because we know the antichrist will come from the Seleucid region, which is in the king of the north area (Syria/Turkey) I think that Antiochus Epiphanes (sp?) is our shadow or proto-type of the antichrist

Wayne • 10 years ago

The "most terrible" in bible-speak...oh, you must be referring to Dan. 7:7: "After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns."

You do realize that this "terrible" in "bible-speak" is speaking of the empire of Antichrist, right?

And who said Russia is going to side with Islam? I didnt.

On the "north" or the "king of the north"....in Daniel 11:5-35, the "king of the south" is consistently Egypt, without exception. The exact same thing can be said of the "king of the north", which is consistently speaking of the king of Syria. Consistently, the north is Syria, and the south is Egypt in these verses. Only those who do not play by the propler rules of interpretation, those given to sensationalism, like to make "the north" of verses 40-45 to be Russia or something different than what was consistently Syria in verses 5-35.

Julie LaBrecque • 10 years ago

I'll jump in so you can beat me up to! I believe that WWII was a pretty good picture of what countries will fight the Anti-Christ, with at least one exception, and it's a big one. Germany. I at least think they will be on the "right" side this time.

Julie LaBrecque • 10 years ago

Just curious, which nations do you think will?

lucy • 9 years ago

Look up the term Cesaro Papism. That's one of the reasons that the Western and the Eastern church split. The Emperor thought he was supposed to run the church. you can see how communism develops out of cesaro papism. That's why the western church turned to Charelmagne the German emperor to help them. See Iconoclast controversy.

Julie LaBrecque • 10 years ago

If Russia is implicated because they have "pretty good relations with many Muslim nations", then, by your allegory, USA must be implicated too because we have "pretty good relations" with the same. Heck, our government is actually giving them cover besides supplying financial assistance and arms.

Steve Smith • 10 years ago

Thanks Julie.. these guys are twenty years behind, the western mind can not grasp the church teaching of Symphonea church and state working together for a Christian culture.

DJ • 10 years ago

Huh? In the US the state does not control the church. Also, no one is implicating anything. I was stating that Russia isn't a pro Christian or pro religion nation. Of course we have Muslim allies as does Russia.

Steve Smith • 10 years ago

DJ you need to get your facts right..... have you listened to speeches by Putin or Patriarch Kryill or The Freedom of Evil in America by Alexander Solzhenitsyn. You can find them on YouTube .

Wayne • 10 years ago

Who is arguing for the U.S.? Im not! But the miserable failures of the U.S. doesnt mean Russia is all "Christiany" now. I dont trust the U.S., but I dang sure dont trust Russia either!

plutonium853 • 10 years ago

oh heres the naive liberal again

Julie LaBrecque • 10 years ago

If you think I'm liberal, you sure don't know me. I've been accused of being further right than Rush Limbaugh.

Hans Offermans • 10 years ago

Julie LaBrecque • 10 years ago

Thank goodness! I thought that you were another wacko on here!

Julie LaBrecque • 10 years ago

?? I must live in the wrong America

plutonium853 • 10 years ago

Religion is man made, Putin has every right to destroy such vulgarity

Julie LaBrecque • 10 years ago

Making such a general accusation is unfounded. Judaism, of which Christianity is the fulfillment of, is the only RELIGION revealed to man by the God of the universe, Yahweh.

Stephen Dalton • 10 years ago

The Judaism of today isn't the religion of the Mosaic Covenant. It's the religion of the Pharisees that Christ condemned over and over again in the gospels. The Old Covenant itself is a dead religion that was superseded by Christianity.

Julie LaBrecque • 10 years ago

Jesus did rip the Pharisees, but not the religion of "Judaism" itself. The Old Covenant isn't a religion. Judaism was not superseded by "Christianity", as we call it, but fulfilled. Judaism was fulfilled when the Jewish messiah, born to a Jewish mother, came to the Jewish people.
Do not boast against the branches. If you do boast, consider that YOU DO NOT support the ROOT. The root supports you. We, Christians, can be cut off.

Stephen Dalton • 10 years ago

"The Old Covenant isn't a religion." The last time I looked at the OC, it was a religion with rules and regulations like any other faith on earth.
The Old Covenant (which you improperly call Judaism) was superseded by the New Covenant. Please read Hebrews, especially Heb 8:13.
So who's boasting against the branches? Romans 11 makes it quite clear that unbelieving Jews are cut off, unless they believe in Jesus. The warning given is Romans 11 is not to be so cock sure of our own salvation.

Walid Shoebat • 10 years ago

Stephen. Stay away from using cliché and simply give your evidence from Scripture directly. Such cliche that you use is common these days, but was never common during the inception of the Church. When you refer to Heb 8:13, please post the text of Scripture instead of your interpretation of it.

Julie LaBrecque • 10 years ago

Paul's admonition is to the Christians not to boast against the Jews lest we are cut off too. The Jews WIIL BE grafted back in, when the full number of gentiles have come in, and thereby the whole lump will be holy.
The Old Covenant "peoples", at least after Abraham, are the Jews, ergo, Judaism "as a label to identify", just as the "label", "Christianity" applies to us. We don't go around saying "I'm a New Covernantist", we call ourselves "Christians". I think you are having a beef with the name used to identify a group.

plutonium853 • 10 years ago

good luck! let me know when you get there dim wit! everything man does has a value - its all about money and a business! shame your brain is the size of a pea otherwise it would be worth selling to science

AnthonyM • 10 years ago

Why do you make intentionally offensive comments? Vulgarity is not a sign of intelligence or power. You lose any argument immediately. I challenge you to improve the quality of your posts!

Julie LaBrecque • 10 years ago

What's your beef? Besides that, Religion is a name given to identify a belief system. I think your comments would offend any decent person. Even atheism is a religion.

JAMOACHA • 10 years ago
