The Problem is that the reason why it's so much killing in Baltimore. These no repercussions when someone is murder . They need to pass the law if you take someone's life your life should be taken (Put to Death). It's the only way some of this killing is going to stop. We are loosing our family for no reason and it's not rite..

I'm willing to bet my next paycheck that these guns were all illegal and further that the shooter has a felon in possession of a firearm on his record. It's a farce that an excon, with violent history, can be caught with an illegal gun and only do like 4 months in jail and right back out for it. You want to curb gun violence? You want a measure that both sides will agree and vote for? Mandatory 10 yr minimum sentences for felons illegally possessing a firearm. That will make a small dent.

So where is the community outrage? Where are the good citizens to stand up and declare they won't tolerate such a violent culture and community?

Never, EVER go to Baltimore.

If you are planning a long distance trip, try to plan a route that takes you well away from Baltimore. But, if, for some reason you have to pass through,

- Make sure your car is in good mechanical condition, and you have a full tank of gas.
- NEVER stop.
- NEVER get off the interstate.
- NEVER get out of the car.

There was a pregnant woman also shot in a similar situation....She was hurt badly but she and the baby survived. I believe she was just standing in line at a grocery store.

If this generation is living their life based on what is show on "television" which is purely entertainment and can be turned off or changed at any time, i truly feel sorry for them. Two lives are lost, one who never had a chance and the other who lived as if life has no value..i guess he was right. My heart goes out to both families, no parent should have to bury their child. Thankful I do not live in Baltimore City because it is obvious the residents choose to live in fear or condone the violence that eats at the core of their existence.

always a shame when an innocent, law abiding, taxpaying citizens is killed as a result of the actions of a couple wild animals. this would be a perfect situation for death penalty.......oh wait we live in MD where violent criminals are "rehabilitated" rather than punished for their criminal behavior.

Political spin aside - judging this event (not in isolation but recognizing it as a frequent phenomenon) as a problem and them suggesting or looking for root causes that can be corrected is usually considered a prudent and wise thing to do. You can debate the effectiveness of this comment in doing that, but the effort is pretty solid and reasonable.
