All any vet needs to do is go to Mexico, cross the border, declare himself an illegal and he'll get immediate, first rate medial care at no cost. The federal government is an embarrassing disaster that we continue to fund.

It all started in 2003 when the GOP and Bush cut 14 billion from the VA (complete, indisputable FACT, btw). Its been underfunded ever since and every time the GOP gets a chance, they try and cut it again.

It is absolutely disgraceful. Especially since it was the same GOP and same POTUS Bush that sent 2.5 million service men and women to Iraq and Afganistan, increasing the number of vets in the US by around 15%.

Maybe you should call your favorite double-speaking GOP elected official and ask them what the deal is?

VA docs accept the pay rate; it is choice...no one forces them to. They also do not have overhead for office space, malpractice insurance, office staff, parking, lab services...etc....nice try though at selling the liberal progressive party line.
