Zaid's quality is his decissivness. Probably he is one of the fastest decesion makers in EPRDF top officials. However, it has to be known that ERA is one of the inistitutions which had the privillage of internal capacity building with different finances and ERA is the best institution in terms of engineering contract management. Zaid, supported with the late prime minister, has taken many affirmative actions to build consultant and contractor capacity building. However, Zaid has become one of the most dictators in the country and he scolds and threatens people who do not accept his idea even if he is asking one to do illegal things. He and his few supporters in ERA had a hiden policy of avoiding compitent engineers from coming out to higher levels and many outstanding engineers who had learnt MSc in foreign countries, mainly England have now left ERA in recent years.
There are rumours that there is a strong and secure corrupted network in ERA which includes Zaid himself. Though this has to be proofed, i am in support of firing Zaid for his limitless dictatorship. He had forgotten that ERA is Ethiopian people's institution and considered it as his kitchen.

All discussions that says " Zaid is a professional, competent etc.", is either posted by himself or from the remaining "tails" like Tsega, and heads of the departments inside ERA, every body knows all of them assigned by him for his purpose. Man, what does “transport economist by training” mean? I would have loved if you remained focused to the point. Anyway, it means he has university education or got training in Transport Economics. He is not working as an expert now (Transport economist), rather as a manager/director. That is why it is put as “transport economist by training”… (to indicate, he is currently

This is a ministerial position (though not put as a minister in its literal sense), so it requires a person with a higher profile, than a mere
civil engineer. This is not a specific project which will demand civil engineer

I am a bit confused on the decision made by the so called "Minister". We knew that he is a "mafia" while he was a Director for the Federal Police. Zaid might have not been convenient to put in place his network of "mafias" within the system. Off course I have been working for ERA and am still actively involve in the industry and no on one deny that Zaid have took many affirmative actions to build consultant and contractor capacity as well respect professionals and give them unrestricted professional freedom, that contribution brings ERA to be one of the best institution in terms of engineering contract management.
The problem is not firing him, what matters is whom they will bring to replace him.

Mr. Zaid W/Ghebriel is a good man and I personally appreciated his ability and personality, but he is also a traitor and he is a dictator official controlled by Chinese. He is Eritrean too. Whereas Mr. Workineh is a respected and genuine guy. He was a brilliant student too.

think Next Specially the DDG of Pl..,(Ashatre) the well known Rent collector. Everybody

they can tell you more about him. He & his few friends are working behind
