It's the politicians on both sides of the aisle who use their positions to enrich themselves through insider trading and modifying legislation to benefit themselves. Examples of this being the millions that Nancy Pelosi has made from insider trading in stocks of companies that she was contemplating legislation over, Dianne Feinstein exempting tuna canneries (many owned by her husband) in American Samoa from a minimum wage increase, and Harry Reid's various land swap deals that have made his friend's and family members very wealthy. It must be nice having a friend who can arrange for you to trade a $3000 piece of property in the middle of nowhere for a $3,000,000 piece of property just a few miles outside of Las Vegas, Reno, or Lake Tahoe. Especially when that trade makes the land that you gave him 10 years ago worth millions in the process.
