And so Emil make a terrible mistake

tmak94 • 9 years ago

I'm guessing this is the first in-comic appearance of Brady (in one of those boxes, anyway...)

Christopher McCauley • 9 years ago

Ah, so you've come back here as well. Hello, tmak94.

AdverseArrow • 9 years ago

Second Tuna: KLONK KLONK

Karen Blanch • 9 years ago

what just happened.

Mister Twister • 9 years ago

Grade B cats.

Higureryu • 9 years ago

.....bets on the box being braidy?

Frank Royce Harr • 9 years ago

That. . . does not bode well.

Hmm-Hmm. • 9 years ago

I was looking backwards for any clues as to where our mysterious last crewmember might be coming from and I have to admit I hadn't seen the unintentional switcheroo here.

Well, at least we can blame Emil, as usual. :oP

SlewedQuasar890 • 9 years ago

Ripple effect, butterfly effect, chaos theory, what have you.

Blacky • 9 years ago

Those cats are supremely adorable XD

Frank Royce Harr • 9 years ago

I think the author likes them. I don't blame her.

WolfCry • 9 years ago

is that... the same guy Emil kept stepping on in the train? cuz if that is him that is hilarious xD

Sunflower • 9 years ago

No, his unlucky train neighbor was a medic (or at least a guy with good first-aid training) we nicknamed "Tintin Hair" because his bangs stood up in front. Tintin Hair was last seen getting off the train a few pages back.

radhi • 9 years ago

"If you broke it, just chuck it. No one will notice, even if they're looking right at you! Chuck the object, the problem goes with it!" - Emil's brain

pyromancer • 9 years ago

At least he didn't try to explode it... although that would be awesome.

radhi • 9 years ago

bahahahaha!!!! Overkill XD

Mfundo Mzolo • 9 years ago

uh-oh i dnt like where this is going..im scared now

idle scout • 9 years ago

How does someone coukd something, much less someones face? I'm filled with intrigue and wonder.

DaiJB • 9 years ago

In the long shot of the plummeting wing mirror - I wonder where that barge (with all the blue-labeled crates) is actually going? There are plainly a *lot* of similar crates going the same way, so there's a good chance this one mislabeled crate will *never* be missed!

DansenDodo • 9 years ago

Woooooooo!!! Second stretch goal reached!!!!

Midwestmutt • 9 years ago

It so often happens. You make a mistake, what you do next only makes it worse, which starts a cascade of errors. Perhaps Cascade should be added to the list of vehicle names?

R De Neval • 9 years ago

How nice! the cats are trying to help the worker guy ^^

Sharion • 9 years ago

*despite knowing that it's probably a first step to develop a compulsive disorder, coming back every few hours, and still laughing every time she sees the page - then again on the comments*
That said... Did you also notice a certain imbalance between the number of comments like "oh, now everyone saw what he did!" and "he should have been honest and take responsibility"? :D

Bookfisher Von Herring • 9 years ago

there is something about stuff that breaks of that makes one more likely avoid responsibility

Nimphy • 9 years ago

I can't understand what's happening on the first panel... Is Emil throwing away the rearview mirror or what?

flyteck • 9 years ago

yes, that's exactly what he's doing.

Nimphy • 9 years ago

But... That way they're going to know it was him!! ;_; Emil, you poor fool...

Haha, gotta love cap's expression in that second panel there x3

Richard Weir • 9 years ago

Yup. He's so cross with himself he felt he had to do something aggressive. I've done similar when I was only a bit younger than him! (And it's oh, so embarrassing when the anger vanishes!)

OrigamiOwl • 9 years ago

Yup. :/ I tend to uh...forcefully dismantle...dead trees...with my boots, far away from the houses. Because I couldn't bare to accidentally break something useful, or not mine, so Emil flinging the mirror away was soooooooo cringe-inducing! X'P heeee

Eich • 9 years ago

Yup. I've punched a couple concrete walls before. My bones were not happy after that.

DaiJB • 9 years ago

There's a dent in a downpipe outside my bedroom...it still clearly shows a couple of my knuckle-imprints in it from 15 years ago now (embarrassed blush). You don't actually *think* before you do these things...

Amadán Dubh • 9 years ago

Oh this is gonna cause problems, I can tell already.

astrocom • 9 years ago

There's definitely enough detail following that cranial impact that this event is going to cause some kind of small chaos. or maybe large chaos.

JaneB • 9 years ago

I really like that Lalli is immediately sitting ON the vehicle, like any good cat he seeks the high ground and takes the weight off the feet!

Tallerken September • 9 years ago

Is Emil's namesake Emil i Lönneberga?

Aprillen • 9 years ago

Eeeeemiiiiiiil! Förgrömmade onge!

Trenchfoot • 9 years ago

Officer down

Sharion • 9 years ago

Sigrun: "Kid. Are you crazy?!"
Emil: "I swear this almost never happens!"

Silenter • 9 years ago

Sigrun: "Mhmm."

Emil: *tries to put his head in even more*

Sharion • 9 years ago

"Even more"? Didn't he have it up his behind from the beginning as far as it would go, making attempts to pull it out?

Guest • 9 years ago
elebenty • 9 years ago

The other guy's name must be Mozel. He was the one that got schlei-ed.

Marius • 9 years ago

From what I can see, the crate was being pushed out to a barge, and the label was about to be removed. This means that instead of a switch, the crew is getting something extra.

Yep, I also call it Braidy.

BrainBlow • 9 years ago

Am I missing something?
Why do people keep talking about Braidy here?

Sharion • 9 years ago

Some people think he is in the box that accidentally got a paper with red sign instead of blue.

blæh • 9 years ago

Why would they put a guy in a box?

Eich • 9 years ago

Hiding from the authorities in a container of some kind like Miguel & Tulio in "The Road to Eldorado." A fan-favorite for methods of meeting Braidy.

OrigamiOwl • 9 years ago

The part where they both jump out is just.... *sheds tear*
"THHHRRRRREEE!! Oh! Uh, who...who ordered the uh, pickles?" I think it went X'D

Richard Weir • 9 years ago

Minna mentioned that he's a stowaway, but we can't work out why a stowaway would want to join our heroes. But if he was stowing away in a box meant for some other place and got accidentally thrown in just before the gang set off, that would explain it.
