Nassau OTB president Joseph Cairo (Vice Chairman of the Nassau County Republican Committee) is selecting the location for the cassino? That's rich!!! Wonder which one of Mondello"s buddies is going to get rich on this deal at the expense of the taxpayers. All those 99 year leases at Mitchell Field made them all a boat load of money!! How soon we forget!!

If Suffolk OTB is bankrupt where do they get $11 million to buy an old movie complex? Not the county because they are broke also. Shouldn"t they be paying the people they owe money to instead? Oh that's right we are dealing with politicians and patronage jobs, how dumb of me.

Why does the Nassau or Suffolk OTB get the benefit of the doubt on any issue? They are two poster children for inept, corrupt, politics-infested local Government organizations. They lose money every year. Close them, and fire all the useless hacks involved.

Location will be in Detroit EDs hometown Bethpage.. Old Grumman Property.....Detroit Ed needs to take care of all his Bethpage crew...LOL
