Nobody doesn't even know how the album will be called yet. She could also call it: "Selena Gomez - My favorites", "Compilation", "Just getting started", "The best so far"

HIlary Duff released one too when she wanted get out of her contract. She didn't even promote it, just released and she was free.

Why is she releasing a "Greatest Hits" album? I feel like she's to young to be doing that and to mention she's only had one song in the top ten on billboard so it should really be called "Greatest Hit".

Are they nuts? That will flop harder then stars dance, sh literally has no ''big hit'' that marked whole year like Get Lucky did or Blurred Lines :O it's better to make a whole new album even thought I don't like her music she might get lucky with one #1 single

Is just to get her contract to HollywoodRecords done. I don't think she cares about the sale of greatest hits.. and is not "Greatest hits" is "Best of Selena Gomez".. her best songs.

"Best of" or "Greatest hits" i'm thinking one has to establish themselves in the music industry to put one of those albums out. And I don't think she has.

It's just to end her contract with HollywoodRecords, way better than release a new full album with them.. and more than "greatest hits" is "Best of". She's the ex-Disney girl with more singles sales tho.
