The first thing is to ensure that the Yorubas speak with one voice. Once this is achieved, the Yoruba Nation would become a formidable, strong, self-reliant and autonomous entity in Nigeria just as California is to the United States, Bavaria in Germany, New South Wales in Australia and Ontario in Canada. Yoruba is big enough to stand proudly alone after its over 40 millions population across the world is bigger than 20 countries put together in Europe, 41 in Africa, 17 in Americas, 13 in Middle East and 6 in Asia. The Yoruba delegates either appointed by Government or not must see themselves first as Yorubas before being Nigerians they can not afford to represent themselves, but Yoruba Nation that is the essence of the Confab.
