Que te digo.... me dices q estas deacuerdo y luego terminas diciendo q no tengo idea. Palabras extrañas las tuyas. Ahora dices que la palabra que usas significa otra cosa. Seguno Wikipedia en ES emprendedurismo te lleva a https://es.wikipedia.org/w/... segun el DRAE el termino no existe..... so nada si estamos redefiniendo terminos en un blog llegaremos lejos. Cuando quieras realmente saber sobre el tema te invito a un cafe, para explicarte.

Honestamente no se por donde comenzar. Estas mezclando conceptos inmezclables. Pero intentemoslo.... contrario a lo que propones el emprendimiento es un esfuerzo colectivo, no a gran escala como un sistema socialista, sino mas bien a pequeña escala, es un pequeño grupo de personas (2-3 o 4... no mas de 5) que ven una oportunidad de mercado y la quieren explotar. Si vez todas las grandes compañias de technologia todas tienes mas de un fundador, y esto se debe a que la presión es fuerte y llevar la carga entre muchos es mejor. Tu ejemplo de la pelicula y el sueño americano es errado ya que realmente son cosas completamente diferentes, en la pelicula el "emprendimiento no existe" el simplemente hizo una compañia mas que hace lo mismo que sus predecesores, ahi no hay innovacion ni nueva tecnologia ni nada mas que trabajo duro para crear una empresa mejor que la anterior, que es la esencia del "sueño americano" trabaja por 30 años para tu jefe y luego viviras la vida que quieres.

En todo caso me parece que eres ignorante del tema y estas en el bandwagon de que "como eso esta de moda dejame crear un articulo al respecto" Sabes porque silicon valley hoy en dia es la cuna de las empresas de tecnologia ? porque nadie te dice que no, te dicen yo no pero te presento a esta persona. La principal forma de ser exitoso en ese mundo es presentar resultados y conocer a las personas indicadas todo depende de abrir las puertas y trabajar en comunidad todo depende de tener fe en que quien ya fue exitoso (Angels, VC,etc.) te va a ayudar, no porque "te lo mereces" sino porque ambos vamos a generar mucho dinero y reputacion de esto.

En resumen si lo que se quiere es hacer una relacion sobre donde encaja el emprendedor en un debate de derecha/izquierda.... creo que el emprendedor es la forma mas sana del capitalismo, nosotros creamos empresas que quieren mejorar al mundo (por ejemplo google) y no solo hacer dinero (por ejemplo las petroleras) con un gran arraigo economico. De hecho la gran mayoria de los "millonarios" del mundo de las startups lo que hacen es invertir su dinero en mas startups (ie: Elon Musk) porque realmente son gente que les gusta crear cosas en vez de crear dinero. El dinero es un medio por el cual obtener mas cosas con las cuales jugar. Desde el lado de izquierda, no hay nadie que de mas que un emprendedor. Cuando no tienen dinero ayudan a todo el que eventualmente les pueda ayudar, cuando si tienen apuestan su dinero a proyectos que los mismos bancos dicen se volveran locos y una vez tienen mucho dinero lo que hacen es inventar mas cosas que hacer. Que se yo talvez i'm bias cause i'm one of them but you my friend have no **** clue of what we are so go read some more books and then write a different article. Pardon my french but seriously....

BTW se dice emprendimiento, emprendedurismo fue una mala traduccion y el termino tiene varios años desfasado.

I'm really glad that is not the case. Kudos to you. If it's a semantics issue then lets leave it be.

IMO the solution to this is both to teach clients to demand quality and for us to stand our ground. If there is someone that will take the project at a lower rate sacrificing the end result they will be someone willing to pay it, if there is someone willing to pay it someone will be willing to take it.

As the owner of a "cheap overseas" company I think you generalization is an issue. We value all the things that you mention and we care a lot about the clients to a point that we are part of their team. That's how we work. The fact that we are not in "the USA" as I assume is from where you are writing doesn't means don't care about our clients. That said we suffer from the same problem our potential clients sometimes say things like the above, so I understand you. Perhaps the title of the article should leave out the "overseas" part and it will still be valid

Castillo, precisamente de ellos es que Hipolito hablaba cuando dice: "enviar los discos fuera", ve y revisa sus terminos y veras que hasta dicen q el costo de envio lo pagas tu se recuperen o no los datos.

Hey, I saw your talk at pycon and noticed the same code. So I guess it comes from here.

We use something very similar except that instead of using the ruby or node version of less. We use this nice little app called less.app, this way designers and people that touch the frontend can have some very nice feedback when their files don't compile and backend people don't have to deal with it at all.

Interesting enough the opposite can also happen. If some some reason a client asks you move a deployment into the future. It will crash with your plans and be as chaotic or worst than asking for things to be out sooner. Personally what we do is that we try to avoid having dates at all and we always give clients how many hours we can work this week and since they have access to the features they have requested they can know that the next delivery will be in "2 weeks" or "3 weeks" if they "change their mind" they will have their times adjusted and they will realize the release date was changed because of their actions.

Excellent thank you ! I was bitten by this too. It was worst as the Django class for handling Image objects hides all PIL errors and it outputs an uninformative error message regarding your image being corrupted.
