Can this discussion expand beyond the profession of actor and encompass every position in film and TV? I'm an assistant editor/editor and 10 years ago, new to LA, eager to work, and thrilled to get my first credit, I added my birthdate and year to my page. Now, 10 years later, I don't want that information up there any longer. I should have the right to remove something that I put up in the first place. Sure, once I get hired people will know my age from my start paperwork, but googling me doesn't yield any birth year results and I'd rather that information not be as readily available to potential employers. I'm not a public figure.

Also, Robespierre is willing to stand in for the rabbit in a hat, but she's wondering if it's okay if she has a monkey instead of a bat.

For a minute there I thought "hypothermia" meant freezing to death.

Which reminds me of the time I was in Paris and saw a magazine headline that said "Ricky Martin est chaud" or something like that. I said to Megan, "Look here - Ricky Martin is cold." I knew full well that chaud didn't mean cold, but at that moment, that knowledge slipped my mind.

I got most of it from Wikipedia and I'm not sure if I looked elsewhere. It's pretty much all serious - I mean, as serious and truthful as you want to give Wikipedia credit for being. See comments above. It goes into further detail about fact and fiction in my blog.
