As a mortgage lender in the Raleigh, NC area - I assure you that we have people all over the country telling us that the new FHA ruling will make it impossible for them to qualify. MANY people graduate from college with more than $30,000 in debt!

Once the migration begins - continues with syndication - my (not so intelligent question) is - how do you get accurate market data? I'm not suggesting that the data in MLS is currently Accurate, because 1/2 of the sales are not marked as Distressed (for instance). But it seems that is a pretty big hole that needs to be filled Accurately?

Okay -this was interesting. I went back and read the 2 places I generally direct people for About Me / Elevator Pitch and realized that's why I signed up. When they changed the laws on April 1st, I went from needing to target Government Loan Seekers to targeting Conventional business... which means more rate sensitive clients, Investors, people who are buying foreclosed homes - not necessarily folks who are driving 30 miles to work (with Gas still near $3.75) looking for a USDA Home Loan. I also need to bring more about our Area into this - because I know from past experience that writing about Economics, and Economic Forecast for Interest rates does not "draw" an audience.

Hi! My name is Eleanor Thorne, and I am a lender in NC. I am on Twitter as http://www.twitter.com/isel... and I have a blog http://www.ncfhaexpert.com that needs to be updated. I just pulled in over 200 of my AR posts that I'm slowly adding (they go back to December of 07).

I joined because I need to get back in the habit of blogging each day, and I know I want to combine this site with 2 other sites I have - I just haven't figured out what direction it is going yet... I figured as I wrote, I'd get a better feel for it. I also need more video, so my goal is to add at least two a week.

I should know how to set up and use Feedburner by now - but it's always such a hassle. I SUSPECT one of my problems is with Permalinks. I will generally go in and set my permalinks to some custom something or other - and I think that screws up my feeds... anyway - setting those up for a StudioPress Blog would be helpful. Thanks dude

The other interesting question here is "Why are mortgage lenders so ready to PAY for mortgage leads... as opposed to self generating them?" There's not a company out there touting that it help mortgage companies with social media, or training loan officers in marketing... there's a MILLION in the Real Estate arena. Does Zillow save some kind of Compliance fear by providing this service?
