Also it should be noted that it is not always about the singular number on the bottom line. Abundance is not always tied to a number.

Re: 5 Rules for Building Self-Confidence

Brilliant list for anyone...no matter how confident they are. It gives someone like me the ability to wear a Tiara and Cape, call myself the Empress of Inspiration...because at the end of the day I do inspire people in all my conversations and I like sparkly things, and what girl does not love a Tiara.
All of these things are so 'Elaine'...it is congruent with ME.

Your job is to find the real YOU and let your authentic nature shine.

What this does not mean is turning an introvert into an extrovert...we need both to keep this world humming along.

Here is an excellent Ted Talk on this very subject
http://www.ted.com/talks/su...

Enjoy

Re: Facebook: The News Feed of Your Friend's Lives

I am interested to see how the timeline changes this Social platform.
Right now I am working on my own timeline and having it integrated with my personal profile and website will further strengthen my brand.

Re: Setting Up and Integrating Your Blog

I have a blog at www.elaineshannon.com which is also my website. Blogging allows me to share and communicate while keeping my website fresh with new content.
I blog at least once a week and have been blogging for several years.
The approach I use is one that encompasses all aspects of Elaine...personal and business.
I use google analytics to measure traffic trends on specific topics and use this information as a gage on what topics are hot or not.

Re: Understand Social Business with Elaine Shannon

I can't wait.

Re: Your Profile is Your Ticket

Never say or do something that can be captured on video/picture that you would not show your kids or grandmother. Joined linked in 2004 after attending a conference and using this valuable Business Network over the years has been amazing
2. Uploaded my first video to Youtube in 2006. Not having a clue what I was doing but knowing that it was going somewhere. Having a place to use my creativity and talent for on camera work in a city that did not have a place for me to do that was priceless. Opening up the possibilities of creating my own show. This Social Media outlet makes it possible for anyone to have their own TV network; no cost barriers, geography is not an issue and hell it is efficient.
3. Joined Facebook March 2007 and found 41 friends...a new way for me to be the Social Butterfly on a larger scale.
4. Joined and recorded my first tweet Feb 2008, attended my first tweetups April 2008 and met one of my mentors Dan Martell.
I know there is more but as this all evolves it will just be more exciting.

Re: The Early Years of Social Media

sorry duplicate comment....

Re: What is "Social Media"?

So if the Gen X&Y are not using e-mail, and over 50% of the population is under 30...my question is, are they the people we are marketing to or not. Is this my target client. If so, then we need to communicate to them through Social Networking...If not is e-mail marketing still in play for the other 50%, who perhaps has the buying power. Oh, so much to learn
