I hate that he objectified Plath as "his muse" rather than viewing her as a talent in her own right. Also, I've read tons of interviews where he sounds like a right twat. And I don't feel the Birthday Letters redeemed any of what he did in the years after her death, or indeed while she was still alive.

Maybe his son? I want to see that biopic. I had a big poster of him on my wall when I was 10. I had a terrible super short hair cut and was always being mistaken for a boy. When I put ol' number 9 up, my mum asked me if I didn't want a more feminine room, to ward off the boy lookalike concerns. Cue pink wallpaper with white hearts.

Yes, and I suppose this would be the part where you school me again for missing spellcheck esp as I write for a living (that's wouldn't have caught the it's/its fuckup anyways) and blah blah blah. Let me preempt: I still don't care! Also, have you ever read F. Scott Fitzgerald's manuscripts? Fucker couldn't spell to save his life. Not saying I'm Fitzgerald (even The Edmund), just that there's minimum merit in debasing someone's point by pointing out their spelling errors. Language is not a pure race, it never has been.

You're right. You have schooled me so hard that I will never again drop an apostrophe ON THE INTERNET. I realize that my failure to type properly, and in accordance with what your English 410 (Evolution of Language and the Information Superhighway) professor prescribes as a correct grammatical adaptation for the new millenium, totally negates all valid logical points made in the aforementioned TXT. Prithee, sirs, dost thou havest the latest dik-tion-ary or, better yet, a copy of The Olde Farmer's Worlde Atlas, that I might use as a reference? Talk 2 u l8r!
