It looks really lovely, Steph! The paint on the cabinets really brightens up the space. And I'm with you on the backsplash -- I'm in love with arabesque shapes as well and got a similar tiles to yours for my backsplash. Mine are various shades of whites/greys instead of the solid white colour.

I'm fascinated by the Australian way of buying a house: It's literally an auction. People show up at the house at a designated time, and you have an auctioneer auction the house off. So long as the minimum price is met, it's all about highest bidder wins. Talk about transparency!

I went to check this condo out last week. It's really nice functional space and has a great little silver of the downtown core, perfectly positioned to see the CN Tower from the bed! Unfortunately, that DVP noise is LOUD. Even inside I could hear it, and stepping out on the balcony was anything but relaxing.

They may be quotes, but doesn't posting them mean these two endorsed the quotes as reflective of their views? These are incredibly sexist and unacceptable for someone who is supposed to be PROTECTING their community: men, women and children.

Additionally: It doesn't say they were fired - just removed from duty. That could mean suspended for a period of time.

While I'm a Hailo gal and I definitely don't agree with Uber's surge pricing policy (during emergencies!), I think this is the most fair and balanced summary I've seen so far.

That was definitely a LOT of outrage (I, too, watched it unfold on Twitter) and I agree that a good chunk of it was misinformation and out of proportion to the situation.

The hunt, the hunt, the hunt! This is why I made the decision to stay in my pad after two great years for at least one more. I mean, I love my place, don't get me wrong. But it is a lot of money so I often find myself wondering if I should move to something a little more budget-friendly. But then I think about the hunt! And the moving! And how convenient I find my neighbourhood and suddenly what's money anyway?!

Hope you post pics of your new place - would love to see it!

I cried, CRIED when Rick collapsed.

But something's been bugging me since: We never actually saw Carl shoot Lori. And if you don't see the death (as they say in the soap operas), you never really know if they are dead. How CRAZY would it be if Lori came back a zombi because Carl just couldn't put a bullet through his mamas head. Entrails hanging from her stomach, blood everywhere... *shivers!*

I love the blue! But if you're looking to play it super safe with colours so it won't go out of style, I'd go with the soft pink. But they're all so gorgeous. I wish I could justify such a purchase!

I'm actually quite interested in this post. Part of the problem of moving to Toronto after university, is that you have no knowledge on a multitude of stores names, unless they're national brands. So for example, you're completely right - Jean Machine I always assumed would be for teens and that was it. But I'm looking at a couple of their sweaters and kind of like them.

How do you find the quality, though?
