I was one of those little guys often sent out to dig up factoids, nuggets, esoteric claims, or whatever you want to call them. Tech ad development builds out the early promises and trials of technology, and what it can do. The talent of creatives like Ridley Scott, Steve Hayden and others is to reveal the right nugget in a special way.

What surprises me is that, as a journalist, you've missed a byline opportunity.

Re: Interview: T-Mobile CEO Philip Humm Embraces Role as Challenger to Verizon, Sprint and AT&T

Sorry, but in the words of my 14-year old daughter, the "T-Mobile ads are, like, really insulting".

Perhaps combative is a message Humm needs to deliver to re-engage employees. And, maybe, "value" is a message that will resonate with the lower ends of the market. Netflix and it's integrations across platforms has changed our family viewing habits completely. While many talk about price as the Netflix driver, I believe price is actually way down the list after ease of use, variety, no ads, high quality, etc. Low expected price is a way to get people sampling it. Now, if only we could get an occasional live stream of a few things (OK, it's really just certain ball games + my wife and ice skating), we'd drop Comcast completely.

Re: How To Mass Export All Of Your Facebook Friends’ Private Email Addresses

interesting, when I had attempted to do the same thing, Yahoo shows it successfully imported "0" FB contacts.

Re: Monaco Memo: Fantasy Meets Reality

Wow.
