I was coming to write this too.

I do feel a bit sad by how Litchie must be fed up of having his chain yanked up. I can fully understand if he no longer wants to keep chasing this.

Not sure is anybody has offered to carry on with the App. I would offer myself but it's quite a responsibility.

Is there any possibility to release iDOS 3 to sideload to Patrons, seeing how the App Store thing didn't work out (even though they may be dinged for it and eventually forced to stop using notarization for the wrong purposes)

Because the App Store as usual is flying by the seat of their pants. The first retroarch version didn't include the DOSBox core, the second version was approved on the basis of the first one having gone through.

But it's irrelevant because Apple in the end does whatever it wants. There are computer emulators in the App Store contemporaneous to what iDOS runs (C64, Spectrum ZX, Apple II) and those are OK for Apple.

This is a bummer to read. I'm sorry you're going through this.

Opening this door in the App Store was clearly going to be a money grab, especially from all the coders that in the past kindly shared their code even if they didn't allow for the app to be in the store without permission.

There's light at the end of the tunnel, though. Riley's GBA4IOS was cloned into an app that got approved and Apple removed it after some back and forth from the original developer. This means it might take some false starts but Apple hopefully are taking actions against the inevitable flurry of copycats and opportunists.

Out of fear of the gods would be a fairly typical reason preferred by many religions. (real) Women are not goddesses, nor are particularly well treated by goddesses (who will punish them for being raped by their god husbands or by simply saying they're pretty), so why should men treat women as well as their goddesses?

On the contrary, they have it set to treat them worse.

Famously, the pilot of B5 has more puppetry than ended up in the series, because the final quality and cost didn't justify having it and it was decided to dedicate the same budget to makeup and CGI.

Agree to violently disagree. They're playful and pretty blatantly echo the Apple of long ago (that many have the original Apple Colors is not a coincidence, either).

When I first saw the variations I imagined they'd tell us the logos had all been created by their machine learning software or something, but there're several that are clearly done by hand with intention.

I love them, I'm really happy about them too.

Hi,

I come a long time after this since there's not a lot of good opinion on Citrix on iPad out there.

I have some pretty basic issues that I don't know if they're part of my configuration but they make it very hard to use Citrix as much as I'd like on my iPad Pro.

The most basic are keyboard controls. I try to avoid using the virtual keyboard if I can help it.

Nevertheless, I haven't found any way to use the esc key from the keyboard, or to invoke anything related to the windows key or even something as basic as alt-tab (I don't see the application switcher when I try it).

Are there solutions for this that don't require me to reach for the screen. Some applications and systems we have require heavy use of the keyboard and this would preclude (in 2018) the iPad as viable replacement.

I'd even be willing to spring for a citrix-branded keyboard if it, like the X1 mouse, added the missing functionality.

They don't need these comments to know what the sites are, nor is posting them here saving them even a second of time. This insistence of shushing comments updating the new sites is little more than an annoying waste of time for all involved and a deep misunderstanding of the level at which these people move.

Siri comes disabled and offers you to enable it. You don't disable it in a new iPhone, you just don't enable it.

While I'd love sharing playlists, I'd have to say having a cloud server where people don't need to care about local hardware (which is the highest barrier of entry, to my eyes, for new non-technical plex users) is way riper and will benefit, immediately, a ton more people than sharing playlists (which, admittedly, would become higher on the list after the influx of new users wanting to share without concerns of transcoding issues and bandwidth bottlenecks).

To my eyes, cloud serving is the single most important action that will finally justify taking sharing seriously.

Apple will never remove the DAC from the iPhone because a loudspeaker and handsfree are non-optional.

Having said this, iPhones today already support external DACs in case you want to use your own.

For an alternative check out Quintet. Allows for the same, but over normal equipment. Set-up a crew of up to five with clear functions and assign functions to them in missions. Over multiple platforms.
