Think about it, Valentino is doing "Couture shirts" which are shirts that are constructed with remnants of couture fabric, and I'm sure people are paying for them. I don't understand the marketing technique behind this, AT ALL. Finely crafted t-shirts can cost up to $40 dollars, so I'm not sure what these labels are doing to these shirts. A T-shirt has 10 seams, so what makes these so special? Sewn with orphan hair?

This made me laugh really hard. I thought it was a Kardashian! I'm not a fan of the boots, to high on the leg. If they were oxford, they would look a lot better, like what Raf Simons did for Doc Marten.

It was funny! I mean, it can't be serious all the time. Fashion and serious shouldn't be in the same sentence in some situations. I thought it was hilarious. Right before this article, I was reading about an embalmer turned model turned designer. Ease up, enjoy it.

The way you described her designs, I was expecting something off the wall. WOW! Her line is really nice. Some things look like period pieces, but they can be updated with the right styling. I really like the baby doll dresses, especially the white one. She seems like a very interesting woman. She has many different hats to wear, and each one is better than the last. I'd like to design for her, could be a LOT of fun.

Atwood and the shoe twins are real cute! I'm a big follower of Nicholas Kirkwood, his shoe designs are more my speed. Atwood is amazing, but I'm STILL swooning over the ALL the shoes Kirkwood did for Rodarte; He's genius.

But of course, Pierre Hardy for Balenciaga is at the top of my list!!

Yeah, it seems a little weird to get someone else's label on you, but for me its more of my devotion to fashion as a whole. I'm a fashion design student, and this is my world. I hate this man's tattoo, and actually the same day I saw a twitter post of a man with the Gucci logos TATTOOED TO HIS FACE. Wow... Plus, mine is on my shoulder, so if I don't want it shown, it won't show. People have their likes and dislikes, personal opinion, if you ask me. I was originally going to get the Balenciaga B's that are mirrored back to back, but it looked more like a butterfly than iconography.

The spacing doesn't look quite right. I have the "LV" and 4 little 4-petal flowers on my shoulder and mine was brought to scale. The circular flowers on his look a little off. Oh, and the elbow makes the forearm look all weird. I mean, I'm all for branding, but this is a little extreme... Pretty, but, pretty extreme.

Oh wow! That's...uncanny. Maybe she thought no one would really notice, or that it's under her name, so what cares who did it first? Nicolas Ghesquiere has done the same thing before, and it wasn't a huge splash. I'm a huge Ghesquiere fan, and I'm still a loyal follower. I don't think this is gonna do anything to Rachel.

Picture 4! That coat/oversized sweater is amazing. I'd like that. The length of the skirts/shorts kinda worries me. Not many short people would want to wear it. Beautiful prints, and sewing. That tucked yellow shirt was real cutesy. I know what I'm saving up for next.
