The 13" was reasonably priced against high end laptops at $1200 given it's specs and construction, but with this price hike I'd probably have to say it's a little too expensive for what it is. As for the 15" and 17" macbooks, those seem very overpriced. I'm not sure how you could argue otherwise. Anyone willing to pay $2,400 for a laptop with those specs in 2011 is in some specialty profession or the luxury market.

This functionality would be amazing to have inside a more robust Digital Asset Management project. How well does the import function work? Can you search for photos based on another photo or find an original based on an altered version?

I'm not exactly blown away by any of these. I'm experiencing bate and switch article reader's remorse. Wired's reporting is looking a little "tired" of late.

Funny, I'm not seeing any real cons in that list. To this day I have only one real complaint about android an its not listed in that article.

Also, is that complaint about the music player being sub-par about anything other than coverflow and itunes integration? I don't use itunes and use other software to manage my extensive music library...
