I enjoy looking at your blog from time to time. What an amazing adventure and experience you are having!

My 16 year old son Peter traveled to Chile about 2 weeks ago. He is an exchange student through Rotary and will be in Chile for approx 10 months. I copied your blog idea for him to keep a journal of his activities while he is away. Your sister Emily continues to do a great job in her role in Stewardship at Moody. In addition to the Planned Giving she helps lead, she also has assisted with major donors and donor events (she recently co-hosted a donor lunch for our new president). She is well behaved most of the time - well you know… ;)

If you have a chance, please include some photos of the family & home where you are staying - your host family. We are happy for you back home. Allison has been camping out in your bedroom. she has 2 clay pots on your desk next to the bed. Last night, she directed the halogen light to be over the pots through the night to help her plants grow. She is looking forward to her classes at school starting soon. All the best to you Peter! It sounds like you are getting along well with the Massos. That was nice of them to take you to the supermarket.

Peter at home and then leaving at the airport. Kind of sad... But we are happy for Peter. The first person we saw at the parking garage at O'hare was a Rotary member. He saw Peter's blue blazer and asked him where he was going. It encouraged Peter.
