But my Grandma was sooo DARK!! Very dark olive toned complexion, and her mother was even darker, my friend glanced at my picture and asked me what a black lady was doing in my photo, especially in my family. I told her that was my Grandmother and she was shocked, I mean she doesn't look black at all not feature wise, but if your just glancing I could see how she thought that. But yeah my mom is Italian and Portuguese and people always assume I get my olive complexion from her, even though she is pale as ever. I reply I get it from my Swedish/Finnish side, they're incredulous you know they have a stigma that Finns are all pale. And then my uncles are all so dark none of us burn, even me and I have blonde hair and blue eyes never have I burned, strange huh?  I've noticed me personally either Finns will have the dark olive skin color of Mongolians, but the more pale Finns with light hair and eyeswill have the facial features of Mongloids. Has any one else observed this???
