I think Forbidden Door is pretty cool. Growing up (and before I realized wrestling was scripted), I think it contributes to a greater sense of "realism" by acknowledging that there are things that exist outside of the organization.

The industry worked differently then. We didn't have blockbuster matches week in and week out on tv like we have now. Because audiences had different expectations, a top start could have two or three special matches a year and wrestle cookie cutter matches with jobbers the rest of the time.

If you're watching the show each week, he's doing a good job. For as much as I love wrestling, I had to stop watching the weekly WWE shows. I still watch premium events, but even that may end after WrestleMania.

If you have 10 viewers in the key demo and 1 million voters 65 and over, you are dramatically shifting the demo for the network, which means none of the promos for other shows will be valuable, and you won't be able to place the most highly prized and profitable ads. You'll be doing Cialis and Depends. Lastly, you won't be building an audience that will take you into the future. The WWE is fine with a broader audience because that audience is kids, which means selling family-oriented ads and building an audience that may grow out of their product but may also return to what they grew up with. These are different approaches, both of which are valid.

We don't have free markets. In free markets profits trend to zero. We have regulated markets, and since we have regulated markets, they should be well-regulated instead of haphazardly regulated.

Actually 63 million voted for Trump while 66 million voted for Clinton. The easy spread of misinformation that is quite easily checked with a simple web search is part of the problem.

You're right. I just reread your comment. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I don't think we should agree to disagree over the basic facts though. Yes, things may be worse for you, for which I'm sorry, but at the very least, you can now stop blaming this administration for the issues with unemployment, given that it is clearly the Republicans' fault. As someone who also had to go on unemployment, I can also sympathize. Frankly, I'm glad unemployment, food stamps, and the ACA were there when I needed them.

No one disputes that things were awful in Chicago this year, but that doesn't change the broader facts of the matter. My argument isn't that people aren't suffering. It's that, as I demonstrated, your blame is misplaced. If you want to blame bailouts, fine, but return to the source - Bush. If you have a problem with the amount of time allotted for unemployment, fine, but don't blame the person who tried to keep it extended. Blame the people who claim it disincentives work and cut it short. If you want to blame black lives matter (not sure why you brought them up), then look to the fact that millions of black people feel they are suffering, the same way you feel you are part of a group of people, whose lives definitely matter, who are suffering.

One last thought about the copays and deductibles. My wife couldn't get insurance before the ACA because of a pre-existing condition. I welcome copays and deductibles, which are a welcome change from the bills of 20 to 60 thousand we'd run up at the hospital when going to the emergency room.

In case you don't recall, you can just search for Obama comments unemployment extension to see Obama tangling with the GOP over the issue in 2014. It just isn't true that he didn't fight to extend it. Furthermore, we remain at historic, lifetime lows for crime in the US.
