Oh I know! And it annoys me how they don't really do a very good job
of getting the word out to customers - even me, who works there,
wouldn't have known had I not needed to stop and ask a manager what
the official protocol was for switching them out!

A head's up that J Crew no longer offers a lifetime guarantee on their clips - we had a woman come in and try to trade in her broken one for a new one and our manager had to tell her we no longer do that. :( Sucks, I know.

So I grew up out in the sticks and we had a ranch and there were chickens and we'd get farm eggs... My mom always emphasized that we were to break the eggs into a mug or bowl before pouring it into the batter or other eggs or whatever it was we were making. Why - because these being random farm eggs, you never knew just how far along in the development process the egg was. Needless to say, I've seen every level of development in a baby chicken's life - usually bright and early on a Saturday morning, pancakes on my mind and cartoons in the background. If the egg was to the point of bones being present, I'd usually pour it into a tupperware container, pop it in the fridge and take it to science class on monday.

I, too, lost my virginity in the cab of a pickup truck - in the middle of a pasture. The only person who has been able to beat me in the "I bet I lost my virginity in a worse place" is a former coworker who lost hers in a Geo Metro in the parking lot behind a Taco Bell - right by the dumpster.
