I am going to try it out! It makes a ton o! sense. And this is also a great way to keep a team of agents all focused on the core goals of driving an agentic business forward. I am going to use this along with metaswarm to see what my agent swarms can frame and build and operate together.

Re: Are You Ok?

Sending 🤗 my friend, I know how you feel. After 3.5 years of working on fighting hate online for the ADL during the 2017-2021 period (including Jan 6) I was burnt to a crisp and having PTSD - didn't even want to go to the office to stay in touch. I am so grateful for the time away, and the opportunity it gave me to just wander in liminal space again. It is a luxury so few people get! Just so happy to hear about your health journey, and your revitalization. All the best... - Dave

Re: SXSW PanelPicker®

So important and necessary!

Re: SXSW PanelPicker®

This sounds so cool! Any of the Canon 50mm lenses are great, and you're right - you do start seeing the world differently. Now you can get the camera out of "Green mode" or "P" mode and into the creative shooting modes like Av (Aperture priority) or Tv (Shutter priority) and really see the difference. Enjoy!

Re: Q: Why No Twitter Board Seat for Kleiner’s John Doerr? Ad networks utilizing real-time capabilities are much more lucrative. Having great relationships with publishers along with a faster way to target relevant ads is a very good combination. Figuring out the 3 steps took me about 20 minutes, mostly because I had to download the latest alpha of Firebug and set up UAControl and the Cookies panel on 4.0b7. Very nicely done - this will certainly stop most applicants who don't understand the basics of the web and HTTP, but not too hard that it made people scratch their heads too much. Congratulations!

BTW, would love to do something together with you and Offbeat Guides: http://www.offbeatguides.com/ - Drop me an email to dave@offbeatguides.com if you're interested - I think we can find a way to work together to give your users a great service together.

I've added in a custom chapter to the travel guide I sent over (It's sent over in the resume portion of the application, heh) that explains a bit about how we might work together too - it's right after the maps.

Either way, thanks for the fun puzzle, and I love your service. There's lots of Rails-isms that made me scratch my head and ask myself, WTF? Fortunately I have a great group of people around me who are willing to give advice and help, and the IRC channel actually does help as well, if you can figure out how to phrase your question in a short, reasonable way. The other thing I find is that by doing constant iteration and testing, I can usually localize the issue fairly quickly. The debugger command in my code, along with mongrel and irb are quite helpful as well.

Overall, it's a reasonable tradeoff - but it would definitely be nice to have a set of more intermediate tutorials or guides for people who are still getting their feet wet with Rails. Another thing I'd love is a really good quick reference guide - e.g. common commands and options for Rake, for script/generate, routing, etc. Perhaps I'll just have to write one...

Re: Wanted: A simple DNS app for Mac or Windows (Scripting News)

Dave, have you looked at Webmin? It has a reasonably easy-to-use configurator for BIND, the DNS server that runs on Macs by default (and can run on Windows, too). Here's a screenshot:

http://www.webmin.com/scree...

It's not quite the simple drag-n-drop interface you might be looking for, but it puts the power of BIND in your hands in a reasonably nice web interface.

Re: iStat Menus Now Running with Snow Leopard: Everything You Need to Know and More

Not quite everything I need to know.
