That's my favorite entree from there too! I had it last Thursday. Mmm with Spanish Red Sauce and refried beans. Totally unhealthy, but delicious!

Are you guys purposely going through BR? It seems like it would be quicker to go up to Dallas and through Shreveport all the way across Louisiana and Mississippi into Alabama. I don't know for sure...I <3 I-10 too much to explore other routes :-)

This is lame. I can only answer a question once. I know you and the bf already went to the capitol, but maybe they would be interested in taking a tour of it? Or the Bob Bullock museum?

Or you could go super-cheesy and do one of those "Night Ghost Tours" which shows all the "haunted" places around downtown Austin. If you are going to be in the Congress-street bridge area anyway...

Don't forget to take them to Amy's Ice Cream!

Um, if you're down for driving for a bit (probably an hour and a half), you could take them to Fredericksburg and go get fresh peaches (they are super delicious) and check out all the antiques and neat little stores in their little downtown area. Johnson City is on the way down there, so you could visit the LBJ Ranch too if that's something they would be interested in.

Are you guys kayaking at Barton Springs? That would kill two birds with one stone.

Just tossing out some ideas for you....

By the way, I'm back in Austin, so let me know if you want to grab food/drinks/music sometime :-)

The same thing happened to my friend's car Monday night/Tuesday morning. I think you guys might live close -- Great Hills area. I wonder if it's the same culprit...they broke his window, stole his GPS and his amp. We keep checking on craigslist to see if they try to sell it...
